Meld has recently raised another round of funding. The total amount of this round is $15 million, with $7 million newly raised led by Lightspeed Faction. F-Prime, Yolo Investments, and Scytale Digital also participated.

What does this company want to do? Build a global stablecoin network. It sounds quite ambitious. Founder and CEO Pankaj Bengani revealed that they have already partnered with over 50 service providers, covering more than 180 countries and over 150 regions. In simple terms, they aim to make stablecoins truly fluid worldwide, rather than just circulating within the crypto space.

From the investor composition, a group of strong institutions stand behind it, indicating that the cross-border payment of stablecoins is still recognized. The next step depends on whether Meld can effectively integrate these more than 50 partners and unleash the network effects.
