Recently jumped into the Base ecosystem and tested out one of the gaming projects there—pretty solid experience overall. The gameplay mechanics hit different, kept me engaged longer than I expected.
Grabbed one character NFT as a starter pack, then picked up some complementary in-game items to level up my setup. Here's the thing though: these assets aren't locked down. You can actually flip them on secondary markets like OpenSea whenever you want, which adds a whole different layer to the gameplay loop. Some people are treating it as a side hustle, others just enjoy collecting.
What caught my attention is how smoothly the whole thing works—from minting to trading. The Base network keeps gas fees reasonable, so you're not bleeding value on every transaction. Still doing my research on the long-term sustainability angle. Anyone else deep in the Base gaming scene got thoughts on where this is heading?
