The short moving averages are starting to flatten; price has returned to trade around the moving averages. This suggests that there is capital stepping in at lower levels, but the 1950 resistance overhead remains clear.

It is now entering a range-bound consolidation phase, with long and short forces in relative balance. The overall market outlook is that the U.S.-Iran conflict is unlikely to be quickly resolved in the short term, and the odds of an effective ceasefire by the end of July are relatively low; as time goes on, an effective ceasefire in mid-to-late August has become the mainstream expectation, geopolitical easing sentiment continues to heat up, and the trading price for a near-term escalation into large-scale conflict has cooled significantly.
