What impressed me most about this trade wasn’t the final result, but the stretch of time before the market move started—when nobody was willing to wait. The long entry reference was around 3.050. The price ground sideways for a long time, with near-breakouts and pullbacks happening one after another. I almost bailed early because I didn’t have the patience.
Later, the chart changed: the pullback became shallower and shallower, and sell pressure didn’t keep expanding. The price ultimately moved to 3.819, and +1787.95% was a confirmation of my original judgment. In that moment, I really felt relieved, because there had been doubts earlier—but they didn’t end up being what led me around.
A lot of people like to see the direction confirmed after a pump. But the truly comfortable spot is often hidden before things get hot. By the time most people start chasing, the rhythm has already changed. One thing I did relatively well this time is that I didn’t get itchy to trade after the start, and I wasn’t shaken out by short-term volatility.
After catching this leg of the move, I still hold my view on this direction. It’s not because the price went up that I changed my mind—it’s because the support I’d observed earlier is playing out. Trades can’t go your way every time, but staying clear-headed while the market grinds is already much better than blindly chasing.
