According to the Financial Times, Amazon is in talks with OpenAI for an investment protocol exceeding $10 billion, which may include the use of Amazon's Trainium AI chips and its data center services, further propelling OpenAI's valuation beyond $500 billion. This deal builds on the previous $38 billion protocol OpenAI reached with Amazon for leasing servers over seven years, highlighting its trend of seeking diversification in cloud services after restructuring its relationship with Microsoft.
