Have you ever thought about what the biggest pain point of Web3 is right now?

It's not that the technology isn't advanced enough, but rather that fragmentation is too severe. Ethereum has its own ecosystem, Solana has its speed, and Arbitrum and Optimism each hold their own ground. What is the result? Users' funds are literally chopped into several pieces. Want to move funds between different chains? Either use a bridge (slow, expensive, and risky), or switch back and forth between multiple wallets (incredibly troublesome).

Kite is here to solve this problem. It is not a traditional cross-chain bridge—those things merely transfer assets from chain A to chain B. Kite operates on a different logic. It employs a technology called "asynchronous intent settlement engine" that allows you to manage liquidity across all chains from a single interface. How does it manage this? You only need to express your "intent"—for example, "I want a 5% stablecoin yield, and the risk hedging cost should not exceed 1%"—the rest is left to the system to automatically match and execute.

Since 2025, the rules of the Web3 game have changed. The era of fundraising through storytelling is over; the core of competition now lies in whose infrastructure is more solid. VC's frenzied pursuit of Kite is because it genuinely solves the industry's pain points. You can think of Ethereum as a bustling business center, Solana as a high-speed racetrack, and Kite as the hub that connects these independent islands.

Interestingly, it is not the large institutions that entered the market first that are solving this problem, but rather the developers who are focused on building infrastructure. Just like me—rather than participating in that fiercely competitive financing battle, it is better to become a builder of the ecosystem, which actually allows one to take the leading position earlier.

Fragmentation is indeed a hurdle, but to be honest, whether Kite can truly solve it depends on subsequent execution. Don't just hype up slogans.

Fragmentation is a valid point, but it feels like there's a new middleman emerging...

Honestly, this set of intent settlement engine sounds good, but the biggest concern is that it might become another liquidity black hole.

The infrastructure is solid, but will users really pay for convenience? Not necessarily.

Fragmentation is indeed annoying, having to manually switch wallets. If this thing could really provide a one-stop solution, I would be impressed.

Fragmentation is indeed disgusting, but can Kite's "intention engine" really solve it? To put it bluntly, it still depends on execution; too many projects boast excessively and end up disappointing.

Fragmentation is spot on; it's really exhausting to be toiling away across different chains every day.

Those cross-chain bridges are extremely expensive and occasionally have issues.

Asynchronous intent settlement sounds quite promising.

Real infrastructure is the way to go; the era of storytelling is indeed over.

If Kite can connect the liquidity this time, they will make a fortune.
