As soon as I woke up this morning, my feed was flooded with Vitalik's latest comments.
What's interesting is that the official Twitter accounts of major DeFi protocols almost instantly gathered, turning the comment section into an “Ethereum family reunion.” This move is clearly showing support for the Layer2 sector.
Will established L2s like ZK, ARB, and OP take advantage of this momentum to rise again? After all, the Ethereum ecosystem has been dormant for a few years, and it's about time for a new wave of scaling solutions to take center stage.
However, whether the market will buy into it still depends on whether capital and ecosystem development can keep up. Just talking about it won't sustain the momentum for long.
Data shows there's indeed some movement with ZK this round, but who dares to guarantee how long it will last? Talk is cheap—real progress comes from ecosystem building.
Ironically, the fact that all these major protocols are in such a hurry actually says something—anxiety. It's been a few years of silence, interesting.
---
Is this another round for L2s to take off? Feels like we hear this same story every year.
---
Liquidity is what really matters. Shouting all you want won’t help; let’s see who’s actually building in the end.
---
Rushing to assemble in seconds is honestly a bit awkward—it’s like a marketplace scramble.
---
The problem is, when will the ecosystem catch up? Having only L2s without users is just a joke.
---
Does ZK have a chance? Or do we have to wait for the next market hype cycle?
---
How long will this wave of hype last? I bet the buzz will die out in three months.
---
Can ZK make a comeback this round? Feels like OP has been out of the game for a while.
---
Every time there are these calls to action, but if the funds don't follow, it's all for nothing. I'm betting ARB is done for this time too.
---
What's with this whole DeFi family bucket thing? Isn't it just huddling together for warmth? All hype.
---
The scalability narrative has been going in circles for years. Can they come up with something new?
---
The real test is ecosystem development, not just a couple of comments from Vitalik.
---
If L2s actually take off this time, this is the opportunity I've been waiting for. Let's see how long it can last.
---
This instant assembly move feels a bit forced, honestly kind of confusing.
---
Liquidity is what really matters. Everything else is just hot air.
