The altcoin season scenario mentioned earlier is coming true—some coins are now outperforming where BTC was at $120,000. In reality, there’s no need to wait for Bitcoin to reach $120,000 before altcoins start moving. Every deep correction in Bitcoin is a window for capital reshuffling.
Altcoins have always thrived on being “unexpected.” Remember when ETH shot up from $1,400 to $5,000? Back then, Bitcoin was still dropping, but Ethereum still managed to carve out its own independent rally. Right now, many altcoins are still valued at levels corresponding to when BTC was at $40,000-$50,000.
This period is also the easiest time for people to get left behind. Some retail investors get envious seeing the gainers list, sell at the bottom to chase highs, or open long and short positions frequently. Why do retail accounts always end up in the red after every bull market? The core issue is this—trying to catch every price swing, every gainer on the leaderboard, and avoid every correction is basically gambling.
What you should do most in a bull market is avoid risk, not go all-in on risk. The real way to make money: focus on a few assets long-term, look at their stability, explosive potential, sustainability, and visibility, then just ride the main surge. “Responding to all changes with the unchanging” sounds simple, but it’s actually the most counterintuitive approach. Only after experiencing complexity do you understand the weight of “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
