Abstract generation in progress

Want to use Arbitrum on MetaMask but don't know how to do it? It's actually very simple.

Core Data to Understand: Arbitrum is the largest Layer 2 solution on Ethereum, with a TVL approaching $16 billion, accounting for over 41% of the L2 market. The key is its transaction speed, which reaches 40,000 TPS (compared to Ethereum's 20-40 TPS), and the fees are significantly lower. There are nearly 250 dApps running on the network, covering everything from DeFi to NFTs.

How to add? Especially fast:

1️⃣ Open MetaMask → Account icon in the upper right corner → Settings

2️⃣ Find “Network” → Click “Add Network”

Just fill in this information:

  • Network Name: Arbitrum One
  • RPC URL: https://arb1.arbitrum.io/rpc
  • Chain ID: 42161
  • Token Symbol: ETH
  • Block Explorer: https://arbiscan.io

4️⃣ Save, done

5️⃣ Return to the wallet interface, select “Arbitrum One” from the top network options, switch successfully.

After adding it, you can directly interact on Arbitrum, transfer coins, use dApps, and it’s all good. Compared to operating on the Ethereum mainnet, the speed here is fast, the fees are low, and the experience is significantly better.

MetaMask has over 100 million users worldwide, and this step is basically standard practice. Spend 5 minutes on this, and you'll save yourself from constantly being stuck in high fees later.
