Why do wealthy people all drive inexpensive cars?

It sounds unbelievable, but the data speaks for itself: among Americans with an annual income over $250,000, 61% drive Honda, Toyota, or Ford — true "family cars." Elon Musk once drove a Toyota Prius, and Warren Buffett drives an old Cadillac, often as a chauffeur for friends.

Financial influencers have summarized a logic: luxury cars depreciate quickly and have high maintenance costs. The money spent on them could be invested to generate more wealth. Instead of spending money to "look wealthy," it's better to actually become wealthy.

Surveys show that the favorite car brands among millionaires are Toyota, Honda, and Ford, followed by Lexus, Subaru, and BMW.

So, the secret of the rich isn't flaunting wealth; it's being meticulous with every penny. Are you still saving up to buy a luxury car?
