On May 6, according to Bloomberg Tax, the two heads of the digital assets division of the IRS, Sulolit “Raj” Mukherjee and Seth Wilks, have resigned. They only worked for over a year and were primarily responsible for enforcement compliance as well as strategy development.

Trish Turner, a senior official with over 20 years of experience at the IRS, has replaced their position. Previously, she was a senior advisor to the Office of Digital Assets.
