April 3, 2025 Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) short-term strategy analysis
1. Bitcoin (BTC) trading strategy
Short Selling Strategy:
Entry point: If the current price rebounds to around $84,500, a short position can be established. If it further rebounds to $85,200, additional shorts can be added.
Stop-loss settings: It is recommended to set the stop-loss in the range of $85,100 - $85,500.
Target range: first look at $83,500-$82,000, if it breaks, it may drop to the support at $80,700.
Long Position Strategy:
If the price falls back to the support range of 82,000-83,000 USD and stabilizes, you can try a light long position, with a stop-loss reference at 81,000 USD and a target near 85,000 USD.
2. Ethereum (ETH) Operating Strategy
Short Position Strategy:
Entry point: If the current price rebounds to around $1,845, a short position can be established. If it rebounds to the range of $1,870-$1,900, then increase the position.
Stop loss setting: It is recommended to set it above $1,870-$1,950.
Target range: First look at $1,800-$1,760, strong support at $1,780.
Long Position Strategy:
If the price retraces to stabilize in the support area of 1,780-1,800 USD, you can take a small long position with a stop loss at 1,750 USD, targeting 1,880-1,910 USD.
3. Overall Market Assessment and Risk Warning
The consolidation pattern continues: Bitcoin remains in a wide range of $80,000-$88,000, while Ethereum fluctuates between $1,780-$2,040, and one should be wary of false breakout risks.
Key signals: If Bitcoin stabilizes at $88,000 or Ethereum breaks through $2,040, it could initiate a new trend.
Position management: It is recommended to build positions in batches, avoid heavy positions, and set stop-loss limits strictly.
4. Impact of News
Trump's tariff policy triggered risk aversion in the market, causing U.S. stocks to fall in conjunction with the crypto market. It is necessary to continue to pay attention to the follow-up fermentation of policies and the impact of economic data (such as inflation and non-farm payrolls) on the market.
Strategy Summary: Currently focusing on high selling and low buying, prioritizing short position suggestions, and flexibly operating in conjunction with support and resistance levels. If the price does not break through the morning high (Bitcoin 84,000, Ethereum 1,845) during the European session, the bearish outlook can be continued #BTC #ETH .
