According to Mars Finance, White House Press Secretary Levitt stated that President Trump will announce his reciprocal tariff policy at an event in the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday. Levitt said that Trump's announcement primarily concerns "nation-based" tariffs, but he also "committed" to implementing industry tariffs at another time. Levitt mentioned that members of Trump's cabinet will attend the announcement ceremony. Levitt said, "The president will announce a tariff plan that will reverse the unfair trade practices that have exploited our country for decades. It is time for reciprocity, and it is time for the president to take historic action and do what is right for the American people."
