The million-dollar ETH wallet that hasn't been touched for 10 years has been activated.
Since Ethereum was launched in 2015, a wallet containing 900 ETH that had not been touched has become active after 10 years. In a transaction made at 21:22 Turkey time this evening, 25 dollars worth of ETH was transferred from the wallet for testing purposes.
While the transfer of the remaining ETH is eagerly awaited, it remains uncertain whether the transaction was made for the purpose of sale or merely for a wallet change.
Bought ETH at $0.31
The owner of the mentioned wallet participated in the Ethereum ICO in 2015 and purchased 900 ETH for 280 dollars. After the passing years, the value of the ETH increased by more than 800 percent, reaching 2.3 million dollars.
On the other hand, a similar wallet that also had 1000 ETH made its first transaction after 10 years last week and transferred 1 ETH.
The second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, ETH, is finding buyers at 2,525 dollars.
