ARB at $0.16—what are you still waiting for?
Look at the surface first: up 100%, but everyone who chased the rally is trapped.
ARB surged from the 2026 low of 0.07 to 0.174, doubling in 30 days and posting its strongest rebound in nearly a year. Its market cap has returned to $1.1 billion, with 24-hour trading volume noticeably higher. The price has moved above the 50/100/200-day moving averages, the moving averages have formed a bullish crossover, and RSI is at 52-66. The trend has turned bullish, so pullbacks are opportunities.
First: Standard Chartered is seriously pricing ARB for the first time.
Standard Chartered Bank initiated coverage of ARB for the first time, giving it a $10 target for 2030. The path is: 0.50 by the end of 2026 → 1.50 in 2027 → rising year by year afterward.
Arbitrum is no longer just the “airdrop-distributing L2.” It is becoming infrastructure for bringing TradFi on-chain. Robinhood Chain uses its technology stack, while tokenized stocks, RWA, and institutional settlement all run on it.
This Standard Chartered research report is repricing ARB from an “L2 governance token” into “TradFi chain infrastructure.”
Second: it has started collecting tolls from others.
How did Arbitrum make money before? Gas on its own chain.
Now things have changed. After Orbit chains launched, others that use its technology stack to launch chains have to pay it licensing fees.
Robinhood Chain runs on Arbitrum technology → Arbitrum gets paid
Other projects want to copy the playbook → they have to pay too
The revenue structure has changed from “collecting gas itself” to “collecting gas itself + collecting rent”
DAO revenue in the first half of the year was approximately $6.19 million, with an extremely high gross margin.
Third: it has just broken through technically, but a sword hangs overhead.
Good signals:
High-volume breakout above the old 0.15-0.157 resistance
Above the 50/100/200-day moving averages, with the averages turning from bearish to bullish
Rebounded from 0.07 to above 0.16, up more than 100% in 30 days
Perpetual funding rates are slightly negative, indicating no excessive leverage on the long side and a healthy structure
Bad signals:
There are upper wicks everywhere above 0.17; every push gets knocked back
Around mid-September, approximately 92.6 million ARB will be unlocked, continuing to dilute the circulating supply
The daily MACD histogram is weakening, and upward momentum is fading
ARB does not pay gas fees (gas is still paid in ETH), so the token’s value capture is relatively indirect
The bulls and bears are fighting—you decide
On one side:
Standard Chartered initiated coverage for the first time, with a $10 target for 2030
Robinhood Chain + AEP revenue sharing, a real revenue story
Above all moving averages, doubled in 30 days, with the trend turning bullish
Funding rates are negative, with no overcrowded longs
RWA/tokenization deployments are at the forefront, with a strong institutional narrative
On the other side:
92.6 million tokens unlock in September, with selling pressure overhead
Dense upper wicks above 0.17, with aggressive profit-taking
The all-time high was 2.39; it is now at 0.16, down 93%, with a massive number of trapped holders
ARB does not capture gas fees; its valuation relies on the indirect logic of “sharing revenue after the ecosystem grows”
Altcoin season has not fully opened up, BTC dominance is 57%, and ARB can only follow the broader rally
Trading strategy
Spot/mid-term:
Keep the position at 10%-20% of total holdings and scale in
First tranche: 0.155-0.160
Second tranche: 0.145-0.150
Third tranche (defensive): 0.132-0.140
Targets: first 0.19-0.20, second 0.24-0.26
Stop-loss: daily close below 0.128-0.132
Short term (3-5x):
Bullish: wait for a pullback to 0.158-0.161 to stabilize and buy the dip, with a stop-loss below 0.154 and targets at 0.170/0.174, taking half off first. Only hold the remainder toward 0.188-0.20 after a high-volume move above and sustained hold of 0.174.
Bearish: if it rises to 0.172-0.175 and stalls, forming long upper wicks on declining volume, take a small short position, with a stop-loss above 0.178 and targets at 0.162/0.156.
It’s not that you don’t know ARB has a story—you just didn’t dare buy at 0.07, didn’t dare chase at 0.16, and will be kicking yourself when it reaches 0.50.
Retail traders are always hesitating when institutions seriously price something for the first time.
By the time you understand it, the price will no longer be yours.
Scaling in below 0.16 is where you trade the swings.
Chasing above 0.17 means becoming exit liquidity for someone else.
Hold 0.155, and the structure remains intact; break below 0.148, and short-term bulls concede.
At 0.16, are you willing to buy?
