Arthur Hayes just sold HYPE, and immediately increased his ETH position—what did he see?

Forget about the FOMC for now, there's a more worth-watching signal on-chain.

Yesterday, Arthur Hayes' linked wallet sold HYPE.

Today, the same wallet received 14,000 ETH from FalconX, worth $2.51M.

In two days, Hayes' ETH holdings went from 3,000 to 4,400.

This isn't coincidence; it's a shift in attitude.

HYPE just hit a new all-time high of $76.70 yesterday, up 164% this year, while Bitcoin fell 42% in the same period.

At this critical moment, Hayes chooses to swap HYPE for ETH.

Do you think he's foolish, or does he see something you can't?

Let's look at another line.

US-listed company Bitmine bought 20k ETH through FalconX in the past 5 hours, spending $35.85 million.

You read that right—same broker, same day, Hayes and Bitmine both scooping up.

Bitmine's total ETH holdings have surpassed 5.62 million, accounting for 4.66% of Ethereum's total supply.

Tom Lee's target is to hold 5%—that leaves a gap of 380k ETH, about $680 million worth of buying power.

What does this mean? There are institutional buy orders of 380k ETH waiting in line.

How long can the ETH catch-up logic with HYPE last?

I have three judgments:

First, capital flows have reversed.

Hayes last year swapped ETH for DeFi tokens like ENA, ETHFI, PENDLE. Now he's swapping back—and more aggressively. Yesterday sold HYPE, today bought ETH.

When someone smarter and richer than you rebalances their portfolio, you should ask yourself what you're still waiting for.

Second, the institutional pricing cycle has just begun.

ETH rose 10% in a single day, but don't get it wrong—this rally isn't driven by retail FOMO, but by verifiable on-chain institutional buy orders.

Bitmine continued accumulating during weakness, Hayes increased positions before the FOMC, and whale geministar.eth withdrew 32k ETH from exchanges in two days.

Three streams of capital, same time, same direction.

This isn't coincidence. It's smart money confirming the "deeply undervalued ETH bottom."

Third, HYPE's valuation is already overextended.

HYPE's market cap is $16.3 billion, FDV nearly $70 billion. ETFs are indeed buying, platform revenues are rising.

But ETH? Market cap is $216 billion, representing Ethereum's global settlement layer valuation—institutional allocations are just beginning.

HYPE has priced in all positive news, ETH hasn't.

How long can the catch-up last?

In the short term, Hayes' 4,400 ETH holdings are just a teaser. The 380k ETH gap from Bitmine is the main course.

In the medium term, as long as Bitmine continues to target 5%, each 20k ETH buy will be an on-chain, predictable institutional signal—this "predictable institutional buying" will keep providing ETH with a bottom support.

In the long term, as ETH/BTC begins to recover, the liquidity premium of altcoins will be redistributed. HYPE has risen 164% from its yearly low, while ETH is still struggling around $1,800—there's much more room for catch-up than you think.

"Hayes selling HYPE isn't because he doesn't believe in HYPE; it's because he thinks ETH is even more undervalued. When the smartest players start buying the big picture again, you'd better not oppose them."

"Smart money sells at all-time highs and scoops at all-time lows—not because they're kind, but because they've done the math."

Hayes has done the math. Bitmine has done the math. Wang Chun has done the math. #我的Gate交易时刻 #TradFiCFD黄金大师赛 #Gate现货交易量逆势增长增幅全球第一 $BTC $ETH $SOL

He has been cursing the dot plot for 14 years—yet tonight he’ll need it to save his life

Kevin Worsh, you’ve got today too.

At 2:30 a.m. Thursday Beijing time, the newly appointed chair of the Federal Reserve will sit in the most closely watched seat in the world and hold his first press conference since taking office.

Just a few weeks ago, he was at a Senate hearing, cursing the dot plot until it spilled out of his mouth—“The Federal Reserve tells the world what their projections are, and then clings to those projections longer than it should.”

So what now?

The market is waiting for him to draw a dot.

If he doesn’t draw one, the market runs out of control. If he does draw one, it’s like slapping his own face.

That is Worsh’s predicament tonight: a man who has been cursing the dot plot for 14 years now needs it more than anyone else to save his life.

First, let’s talk about how much he hates the dot plot

Worsh’s hatred of the dot plot isn’t put on.

At the Senate confirmation hearing in April, he listed the Summary of Economic Projections (SEP) as a typical symptom of “over-communication” by the Federal Reserve. He dug up old accounts from 2021–22—back then, the Fed misled the market with the dot plot by claiming inflation was “transitory,” only to end up delivering the most aggressive rate hikes in 40 years.

His exact words were: “The Federal Reserve is also made up of people, and then they will stick to these projections longer than they should.”

In plain terms: the bread you’re all drawing up for yourselves is something you can’t even swallow yourselves.

So he promised a “regime change”—abolish the dot plot and put an end to overly forward-looking guidance. Most Wall Street observers expect that tonight he won’t even submit his own interest rate projections.

If that really happens, it would break the Fed’s 14-year-long tradition.

But here’s the problem—

He needs the dot plot more than anyone else

Why?

Because what Worsh inherits is a mess that’s as bad as it can get.

First, inflation has exploded.

In May, U.S. CPI rose 4.2% year over year, breaking above 4% for the first time in three years. Energy prices are the culprit—gasoline is up more than 40% year over year. The Fed’s most watched core PCE is also staying high.

Multiple FOMC officials have been shouting for rate hikes. Tonight, the wording in the Fed statement that hints “the next step could be rate cuts” will most likely be removed.

Second, the market has already made a move.

Federal funds futures show that the probability the market is pricing for rate hikes by the end of the year is already above 80%.

What does that mean? The bond market is making the decision for Worsh.

If he doesn’t come across as firm enough at the press conference, long-end interest rates will jump straight up—meaning the market is hiking rates for him. JPMorgan chief economist Feroi put it bluntly: “If he can’t maintain confidence in the bond market, a higher risk premium will be embedded in interest rates, which is bad for the economy.”

Third, the White House is yanking hard from the other side.

On May 22, Trump personally hosted Worsh’s inauguration ceremony in the East Room of the White House—this is the first time in nearly 40 years that a Fed chair has been sworn in at the White House.

Trump says, “I hope Kevin is fully independent,” and then turns around to say, “We also hope to rein in inflation, but we don’t want to get in the way of economic prosperity.” On June 8, he was even more direct: “If the Federal Reserve chooses to hike rates, that would be a wrong decision.”

Translation: rate cuts—right now, immediately.

Three forces are tearing Worsh apart

The White House is shouting: “Rate cuts! The economy needs to prosper!”

Inflation is shouting: “Rate hikes! If we don’t clamp it down, it will get out of control!”

The market is shouting: “It’s up to you, but we’ve already bet on rate hikes.”

Worsh sits in the middle, like a puppet tied by three strings.

He used to align with Trump’s calls for rate cuts. But now he’s the chair of the Federal Reserve—what he’s facing isn’t the comment section on Twitter, but 4.2% inflation and an 80% probability of rate hikes.

Johns Hopkins University political science professor Yabuko said something that really hits: if Worsh ultimately chooses to cut rates, the market will interpret it as— the Fed’s independence being substantively eroded.

Rate cuts = surrender. No rate cuts = offending the boss.

No matter how he chooses, it’s wrong.

The most exciting part: the press conference

Tonight’s biggest highlight isn’t the rate decision itself (which will most likely stay put), but the press conference.

Reporters will definitely ask Worsh a question that makes his back go cold:

“Chairman, you previously said the dot plot was a mistake that limits the Federal Reserve’s decision-making ability. Then tonight, will you submit your own dot plot projections?”

Will he dare to say “no”?

The market needs guidance. Without a dot plot, investors will panic. Charles Schwab’s chief investment strategist Sanders put it well: “The SEP can always stir up market conditions, even though the accuracy of its forecasts is at best merely moderate.”

But will he dare to say “yes”?

That would be slapping his own face in front of the whole world.

Inglehart, a former Federal Reserve monetary policy official and now a professor at Yale University, judged: “He will most likely not want to submit an interest rate forecast.”

But the problem is—whether he wants to or not doesn’t matter; what matters is whether the market needs it.

My take: he will invent some “new thing.”

Worsh isn’t stupid.

He can’t both refuse to provide guidance and also let the market fall apart. He needs a communication approach that “preserves his personal style while providing enough information.”

My guess is that he’ll come up with some kind of “range dot plot” or “scenario analysis”—essentially still a forecast, just with a different name, so he doesn’t have to admit that he’s drawing a dot plot.

That isn’t a slap in the face; that’s “flexibility.”

But whether the market buys it is another matter.

Former Federal Reserve economist Sam warned: if Worsh downplays the importance of the SEP, investors will interpret it as— the Fed is “masking” a hawkish shift inside the committee in order to keep rates high to fight inflation.

A Federal Reserve that appears to be hiding internal debates will be seen as complacent about inflation risks— and that is precisely the credibility it can’t afford to lose.

What does this mean for you (crypto players)?

No matter how Worsh performs tonight, the outcome is the same:

Rate cuts are off the table. Rate hikes are on the way.

UBS has pushed back expectations for rate cuts to 2027. Goldman Sachs expects rates to stay unchanged in 2026, and only possibly cut once each in 2027 and 2028.

So what does this mean for BTC?

Liquidity will keep tightening, and risk assets will keep coming under pressure.

The U.S.-Iran ceasefire temporarily dragged down oil prices, giving inflation some breathing room. But the stubbornness of core inflation won’t disappear just because geopolitics changes.

All Worsh has to say tonight is that “inflation risks are still moving upward,” and Bitcoin will take another hit.

“Kevin Worsh has been cursing the dot plot for 14 years, but tonight he’ll have to rely on it to steady the market—the greatest irony of life is that you finally sit in that position, only to find that all your idealism can’t beat a single sentence: ‘The #我的Gate交易时刻 market needs it.’”

I'm wondering if we should all speak in English, with the top 10 all being in English, and only 5 Chinese projects in the top 20.
How can someone like me, who hasn't been on the list for years, manage to get by?
The never-sleeping capital and this pie-in-the-sky vision really made @TermMaxFi understand it clearly.
Just now I saw their recent article, focusing on a modular infrastructure layer and specialized division of labor, the core idea being to completely eliminate idle time for funds.
It’s about squeezing every last bit of value out of the tokens we hold, not letting a second go to waste.
Honestly, this narrative is a bit over-the-top, but it does hit the pain point of low efficiency in current DeFi.
Right now, each infrastructure operates independently, and it’s truly absurd for funds to just lie dormant in pools.
If they can really achieve zero idle time, what would the arbitrage opportunities and yields look like?
It sounds a bit idealistic, but I feel this is the way lending should look in the next phase.
This long article is quite hardcore; I recommend brothers involved in DeFi to take a look,
to see whether there’s real underlying innovation and strength, or just another high-level PowerPoint presentation.

Tonight, the new master of the Federal Reserve is about to hand down a “death sentence” to the crypto market

Bitcoin has fallen from its all-time high of $126,000 to $65,000 now—down by half.

You think it’s over? Tonight, the real trial is only just beginning.

At 2:00 a.m. Beijing time on Thursday, Kevin Woor—newly appointed chair of the Federal Reserve, personally picked by Trump—will step onto the podium for his first FOMC press conference since taking office.

This is not an ordinary rate meeting. This is a historic moment when the Federal Reserve’s independence is subjected to an “extreme pressure test.”

On one side, Trump has been shouting on social media for two years: “cut rates, cut rates, and cut rates again.” On the other side, the US May CPI surged to 4.2% year-over-year—returning to the “4 era” for the first time in three years, and moving farther and farther away from the Federal Reserve’s 2% target.

A person “specifically selected by the president to cut rates” is standing on the edge of a cliff where not only can they not cut—but they may even have to raise rates.

Every word that Woor uses will be translated by the market into real money. And in that real money, your Bitcoin positions are hidden.

Let’s first look at what will happen tonight.

There is no suspense about the interest rate itself—the market already assigns a 99% probability that it will stay put, with rates maintained at 3.5%-3.75%.

The real nuclear bomb is hidden in three places:

First, the “dovish tilt” in the statement will be removed.

For the past few years, the Federal Reserve has kept a line tucked into its statements: “the extent and timing of further adjustments.” This seemingly mild wording is, in fact, telling the market: our next move is very likely to be a rate cut.

Tonight, this line will most likely be taken out.

What does that mean? The official obituary of the “rate-cutting cycle.”

88% of the economists surveyed expect this wording to be removed. This isn’t a word game—it’s a declaration to the market: the era of easing is over, don’t dream anymore.

Second, the dot plot may lose a “dot”—Woor’s own.

Woor has publicly criticized the dot plot for “keeping the Federal Reserve locked into forecasts for longer than it should.” He also said at a hearing: “The Federal Reserve is made up of people. And then they will stick to these forecasts for longer than they should.”

So tonight, he will very likely not submit his own interest rate forecast.

This breaks a 14-year tradition of the Federal Reserve.

The market has always treated the dot plot as the most important “policy anchor.” Now the anchor may be gone. How will investors react? Panic, confusion, selling—you pick one.

Third, expectations for rate cuts are pushed directly from 2026 to 2027.

The March dot plot still showed one rate cut each in 2026 and 2027. Now what? A CNBC survey shows respondents unanimously believe that there will be no change in rates until 2027.

No rate hikes in 2026 counts as a win. Rate cuts may only begin in 2027.

This is a nuclear-level impact on long-end interest rates and tech stock valuations. For Bitcoin? The same nuclear impact—only with an even larger payload.

The market has already made a decision on Woor.

Federal funds futures show investors expect the probability of rate hikes before December 2026 to be above 80%.

You heard that right—80% probability for rate hikes, 0% probability for rate cuts.

A person brought in by Trump to “cut rates” faces a market with an over-80% probability of rate hikes in his first outing after taking office. Who would dare write this script?

What Woor now needs to think about isn’t “whether to hike,” but “how to say no to hiking in a way that keeps the market from breaking.”

The true endgame is here:

Externally, after the US-Iran ceasefire framework is reached, oil prices are falling—this is the disinflationary factor.

Internally, stubborn core inflation, CPI breaking 4%, and a resilient labor market—these are the inflationary factors.

Which will Woor choose as the basis for policy?

My judgment: he will use the most hawkish wording and take the most cautious actions.

He’ll sound tough—suppressing inflation expectations and telling the market that “the Federal Reserve will not allow inflation to run unchecked.” But in actual actions, he’ll wait for the transmission effect of falling oil prices, giving himself political room.

After all, the boss sitting in the White House is still waiting for him to cut rates.

What does this mean for the crypto market?

Just look—Bitcoin spot ETFs have had net outflows for three straight weeks. In the first week of June alone, there were weekly outflows of $3.4 billion, setting a record.

Today, the Fear & Greed Index fell to 22, “Extreme Fear.” A few weeks ago, that number was in single digits.

Bitcoin fell from its May high of $82,000 to an early-June low of $59,000—a 28% drop. From mid-May to early June, cumulative ETF outflows exceeded $4.5 billion.

And after tonight?

If Woor is hawkish enough and the dot plot is completely removed from rate-cut guidance, BTC will most likely retest the $60,000 level.

If he leaves a small “dovish” opening in his hawkish language—there may be a brief relief rally, but don’t expect a reversal.

The real bottom isn’t at $65,000, and it’s not at $60,000. The real bottom is the day the Federal Reserve reopens the rate-cut window—and that day will be in 2027.

“Trump chose Woor to cut rates, but inflation chose Woor to hike. Tonight, the market will find out #我的Gate交易时刻 who the true master is.”

What most traders are missing about this $WLD ‌ move right now is how clean the control has been from buyers

WLD continues its Strong Bullish Rally

Worldcoin is showing impressive strength after bouncing from the $0.489 low and rallying all the way to a recent high of $0.6691. Bulls have completely taken control, pushing price higher with strong momentum and heavy volume.

The breakout above previous resistance confirms a bullish structure, while buyers continue to defend every dip. Price is now trading around $0.654 and holding near the highs, which is a positive sign for further upside.

Momentum remains strong, volume is expanding, and market sentiment is clearly bullish. As long as key support levels hold, WLD could be preparing for another leg higher.

Still bulls are in control and eyes are on bigger targets ahead. The bullish rally is not over yet 🔥

🚀 What surprises me most isn't the rally itself, it's how $BSB ‌ keeps holding strong after such a huge move.

BSB continues to show incredible strength after an explosive run from the lows near $0.185 to a fresh high of $0.5365. Even after this massive surge, sellers have been unable to take control, showing that bullish momentum remains extremely strong.

The trend is clearly in favor of the bulls, with price staying close to the highs and showing no major signs of weakness. Every pullback continues to attract buyers, helping maintain the strong upward structure.

🔥 The bullish trend remains dominant. New highs continue to be printed. Momentum is still strong and healthy. As long as price stays above the $0.47 to $0.48 support zone, bulls remain firmly in control.

Big congratulations to everyone who believed in the move early and stayed patient. The trend continues to reward those who respected it, and right now BSB remains one of the strongest charts in the market.

Still strong. Still bullish. Bulls are not done yet. 🚀

What most people aren't noticing right now is that $XRP ‌is holding its strength even after a strong rally and pullback.

XRP continues to show constructive bullish momentum, staying above the major moving averages after a powerful move that peaked near 1.229 before entering a healthy consolidation phase. Despite some profit taking, buyers are still defending higher levels.

The chart is showing a clear recovery structure, with price remaining stable above the moving average cluster. Even after pulling back from the recent high, bulls have managed to stay in control and keep the overall trend intact.

As long as this structure holds, the bullish outlook remains strong and buyers continue to have the upper hand.

What many traders are missing right now is that one level could decide where $BTC ‌ goes next.

BTC faced rejection twice from the $66.7k to $67.3k resistance zone. The second push higher created a lower high, which is a short term bearish signal.

Price is now trading around $65.8k, sitting just above an important support area.

Support:
$65,650 (current support)
$65,000 (major support)
$63,500 to $63,700 (strong demand zone)

Resistance:
$66,600 to $66,800
$67,300

If $65k continues to hold, BTC could bounce back toward $66.8k to $67.3k and keep consolidating.

If $65k breaks with strong selling volume, a move toward $64.3k becomes more likely, and the market could eventually revisit the $63.5k to $63.7k liquidity zone.

Right now, the chart is not showing signs of panic selling. It looks more like a normal correction and retest after the rally from $63.7k to $67.3k.

Probability from this chart:

Hold $65k and bounce: ~60%

Break $65k and revisit $63.5k: ~40%

The next few hourly candles around $65k to $65.6k will likely decide the next move. If buyers step in around that area, the bullish structure remains intact.

What caught my attention wasn't the pump itself, it was how quietly $TRIA ‌ spent hours holding near the $0.022 support zone before making its move.

TRIA has now broken out strongly after consolidating for hours, jumping from a recent low of $0.0208 to a new high of $0.0284. That's more than a 19% gain in a short time. The move came with strong momentum and heavy buying pressure, which is a positive signal for bulls.

The important level to watch now is the previous resistance area around $0.0260 to $0.0265. If this zone turns into support, TRIA could continue pushing higher in the coming sessions.

Right now, bulls are firmly in control and the breakout structure remains healthy as long as price stays above the recent breakout zone.

Big congratulations to everyone who caught this move early. Momentum is building, volume keeps increasing, and TRIA is finally showing signs of a bigger trend continuation.

For now, the trend remains bullish and buyers continue to dominate the chart.
