$BTC is sending mixed signals.
Coinbase premium has stayed negative for 50 straight days, hinting weak US institutional demand.
NUPL momentum is fading too, but no full capitulation yet.
ETF inflows are back, but the $48K–$50K liquidity zone remains the danger area.
This isn’t clean bullish or bearish.
It’s a market waiting for confirmation.

$950 MU, did you get cut?

First, the surface: semiconductor sector bleeding, retail panic shouting "top."

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell over 7% intraday, MU closed down 4.71% at $938.38, its lowest close since June 10. The candlestick tells you: from the all-time high of $1,255 on June 25, it's dropped over 25% — but don't forget, this stock is still up 230% year-to-date, and over 650% in the past 12 months.

Thing one: earnings were absurdly strong, but the stock fell.

Q3 revenue of $41.5 billion, up 346% YoY, up 74% sequentially. Non-GAAP EPS of $25.11, 17% above market expectations. Gross margin 84.9% — what does that mean? Even Nvidia would be silent.

Q4 guidance is even stronger: revenue $50 billion, gross margin 86%, EPS around $31. Management explicitly said: HBM capacity for 2026 is fully sold out.

The most profitable quarter in history, the strongest guidance in history — and the stock fell 25%.

Thing two: what is the market afraid of? Three words — "too much gain."

Samsung Q2 operating profit surged 19x, yet the stock also plunged. SK Hynix followed. Not because of poor results — the market feels "the good times are over."

An analyst at Saxo Bank put it bluntly: funds are rotating out of tech stocks. Trivariate Research just today raised its target to $1,500-$1,600 — which instead triggered pre-market selling pressure. Good news is already priced in.

Thing three: a notable technical signal appeared.

From $1,255 to $891, a drop of exactly $364. RSI has entered oversold territory — historically, every time MU entered oversold, a rebound followed.

Key support at 900-920 has been touched. If it doesn't hold, next target is $850. Resistance at 1,000-1,014; above that, look at 1,050-1,100.

Bulls vs. bears — you decide.

On one side:

Revenue quadrupled YoY, gross margin 84.9% surpassing Nvidia

HBM capacity fully sold out through 2026, supply tight until 2028

16 strategic customer agreements locking in $100 billion in revenue

Wall Street average target $1,576, still 70% upside

Long-term supply agreement signed with General Motors

On the other side:

Already up 230% this year, profit-taking concentrated outflow

Samsung's beat still led to a drop — market sentiment has shifted

Philadelphia Semiconductor Index down 7% in a day, sector-wide stampede

Class action lawsuit accusing Micron of restricting supply to inflate prices

Key levels

Resistance above: 1,000 → 1,050 → 1,100+

Support below: 900-920 (strong) → 850 (iron floor)

Short-term traders:

Wait for a pullback to the 900-920 zone, enter light for a rebound, stop loss 880, first target 1,000-1,014, exit half position.

Swing traders:

Wait for daily close above 1,000 before adding, target 1,050-1,100. This is not a time to panic — it's a time to keep your eyes open.

Long-term believers:

Start building positions in batches below 900, 3-4 batches. The AI supercycle is only at halftime. Global AI infrastructure capex is expected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2027. Hold for 1-2 years, target 1,500+.

You curse MU now — three months later, you might regret it.

A company with revenue quadrupled and 85% gross margin drops 25% — this isn't a bubble burst, it's a discount sale.

You dared not sell at 1,255, and you dare not buy at 938 — so when in your life will you ever act?

MU at 938 and MU at 1,255 are the same company. What changed is not the fundamentals #GUSD年化升至3.8% — it's your emotions.

Since major crypto exchanges started listing U.S. stocks, those stocks have also begun to stall. The last time a similar script played out was with precious metals and commodities — basically, after they were listed on crypto exchanges, a final wave of rally came, followed by a peak that trapped many crypto retail investors. Now it looks like U.S. stocks might be repeating that same pattern.

If crypto retail investors don’t think for themselves, they will follow market hype — moving from gold to crude oil, then to U.S. stocks — and end up trapped in every circle. Once all their capital is locked up in these positions, the next crypto bull run will come, and they’ll be left in an awkward position. So my advice is: for many high-altitude assets, better to miss out than to catch the falling knife. Currently, crypto is at a low point. Stick to dollar-cost averaging into value coins, invest in areas you know well, and don’t waste energy messing around in unfamiliar territory. Otherwise, when the next rally arrives, your principal will be gone.

A classic "pump and retracement" on the 15-minute chart, but it looks like the bulls are trying to establish support around the 0.6900 mark.

ZEC at $462, still afraid?

Let's look at the surface: daily pullback of 4%, retail shouting "crash again."

Up 16% in the past 7 days, from a June low of $250 to nearly $500 at the peak, market cap of $7.8 billion firmly in the top 15. The K-line tells you: the 440-450 support zone held three times, MACD buy signal confirmed, pre-upgrade — don't get shaken out.

First thing: the Ironwood upgrade is coming, a critical vulnerability is plugged.

At the end of May, the Orchard pool vulnerability was exposed, ZEC plunged 40% in a single day, everyone shouting "privacy coins are finished." What happened? Developers used the Lean theorem prover for formal verification—this is

the same vulnerability, first time ZEC dropped 40%, after the fix announcement it surged 60%. That's bad news turning into good news.

Second thing: capital is flowing from BTC to altcoins, ZEC is the biggest beneficiary.

BTC dominance started falling from 58%, capital clearly moving to altcoins. While BTC was range-bound at $62,000, ZEC independently surged 16%—this is classic alpha, not a copycat.

Retail is still staring at the broader market in panic, smart money has been placing buy orders at 440-450 for three days. When everyone is cursing an asset, that's when it's the best time to buy.

Third thing: a technical signal you must pay attention to.

On July 7, the big bullish candle saw volume surge to $700 million—3x the usual. This isn't retail pulling it; it's real institutional money entering. The 440-450 strong support has been tested three times without breaking, forming a classic "higher lows" structure.

But at 500-550, ZEC has hit the wall twice. Third time — will it break straight through to 600, or be knocked back to 400?

Bull vs. bear, you decide

On one side:

- Ironwood upgrade landing end of July: vulnerability fix + verifiable supply
- +16% in 7 days, trend already turned bullish, volume 3x higher
- BTC dominance falling, capital flowing to altcoins
- RSI neutral 53, MACD buy, technicals healthy

On the other side:

- Intraday 4% pullback, short-term profit-taking needs to be absorbed
- 500-550 failed twice, strong psychological resistance
- Upgrade delay could trigger a quick pullback
- Regulatory risk for privacy coins remains

Key levels

Resistance above: 500-550 → 600-636 → all-time high zone

Support below: 440-450 → 400 (strong support)

Short-term traders:

Wait for a dip to 440-450 to go long in batches, stop loss 430, first target 500, take half off. Once 500 breaks on volume, go long, stop loss 470, target 550-600.

Swing traders:

Wait for daily close above 500 before adding heavy positions, target 600-636, use trailing stop to hold, don't get shaken out.

Long-term believers:

DCA blindly below 440, treat it as "privacy version of BTC." Once Ironwood activates successfully, ZEC will have the strongest trust anchor among privacy coins, long-term target all-time high zone.

When you call ZEC garbage, institutions are entering.

Same ZEC, nobody wanted it at 250, people chase at 500 — what changed isn't value, it's your FOMO.

On the day of the Ironwood upgrade, you'll realize:

It's not that ZEC doesn't work, it's that you can't hold.

Big news at 2 AM tonight! The first Fed June meeting minutes under Warsh are set to be released!

After the June meeting, the Fed only issued an ultra-short 130-word statement: neither mentioning whether rates will be hiked next nor how they'll be adjusted, and the chair himself didn't disclose his own rate projections — essentially giving the market almost no clues. As a result, these meeting minutes have become the only key for the market to gauge the Fed's policy direction.

Core highlights:
① Whether the description of inflation includes "sticky", hinting at a rate-hike tendency
② Whether there is in-depth discussion of AI's supply-side impact on productivity
③ Voting concentration among FOMC members — whether the hawkish camp has a say in September
④ Whether the number of internal hawkish dissenters has increased

Biggest question: Will the minutes themselves also become more streamlined? Some institutions predict that Warsh does not want the market to dig policy clues from the minutes and may tighten this information channel as well.

Market impact: Since June, the number of public speeches by Fed officials has dropped significantly, reducing the policy information available to the market. This information gap may amplify price volatility in stocks, bonds, currencies, and other assets.

$4,065 gold—do you dare to buy the dip?

First, the surface picture: a barrage of negative news—yet safe-haven assets are kneeling instead.

Today spot gold opened below $4,100, with a low of $4,040; at one point during the day, it was down more than 1.5%. From the January historical high of $5,602, gold has now retraced a total of nearly 27-30%. The news flow is all “reasons it should be going up”—war in the Middle East, the rupture between the US and Iran, and a surge in oil prices—but gold keeps falling.

First thing: a surge in oil prices, instead, becomes gold’s “death warrant.”

On Tuesday, the US military announced a “series of forceful” strikes against Iran, in response to Iran’s attack on merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Today at the NATO summit, Trump said: “The memorandum of understanding has ended. I don’t want to deal with them anymore.”

Oil prices jumped on the news—both US crude and Brent rose more than 4-5%.

Surging oil prices → soaring inflation expectations → the Fed won’t dare to cut rates → the US dollar strengthens → gold comes under pressure. Safe-haven demand is completely crushed by rate-hike expectations.

Gold is no longer a “safe-haven asset”; it is a “slave to interest rates.”

Second thing: inflation returns to the “4% era,” and the Fed is being roasted.

In May, US CPI surged to 4.2% year-on-year, the highest since May 2023, accelerating for three straight months. Core PCE also rose to 3.4%, getting farther and farther away from the Fed’s 2% target.

Tonight (2:00 AM Beijing time on July 9), the Fed will release the minutes from its June FOMC meeting. The June meeting kept the interest rate unchanged at 3.5%-3.75%, but the statement leaned hawkish—emphasizing that inflation is still above the 2% target.

If hawkish → gold heads straight for 3,900-3,700. If dovish → the rebound looks toward 4,200+. Tonight is gold’s “life-or-death judgment.”

Third thing: technically, it tells you whether $4,100 can be held.

Daily chart: after pushing higher to $4,180 yesterday, it fell back; the single-day swing was nearly $90. Near the close, it broke below the key support at $4,135. Today continues the weak trend, and is currently struggling in the $4,050-$4,100 range.

Key levels:

Resistance overhead: 4,130-4,140 (21-day moving average) → 4,170-4,180 (recent high) → 4,217-4,222

Support below: 4,040 (today’s low) → 4,000 (psychological line) → 3,950-3,900

Pattern: the daily chart has already broken below the uptrend line; on the 4H chart, it’s arranged bearishly; RSI is around 44, neutral but slightly weak. Any short-term rebound is just an “escape bounce.”

Bull vs. bear—you decide

On one side (bearish for gold):

A surge in oil prices lifts inflation; the Fed doesn’t dare loosen policy

The US dollar strengthens, putting gold under double pressure

The daily chart structure turns weaker, and the technicals are bearish

JPMorgan cuts its short-term gold price outlook to 4,300

On the other side (bullish for gold):

US-Iran conflict escalates; geopolitical risk is real

Global central banks keep buying gold; the long-term logic of de-dollarization endures

If the minutes are dovish, gold could stage a retaliatory, explosive rebound

Short-term players:

Lightly short in the 4,130-4,170 area on the rebound, with a stop-loss above 4,200, and targets at 4,040-4,000.

Swing traders:

Wait until the FOMC minutes land to judge the direction. If hawkish → wait to accumulate in stages around 3,900-3,950; if dovish → chase longs near 4,040, with targets of 4,200+.

Long-term believers:

Start dollar-cost averaging in the 3,800-4,000 area. Gold’s long-term logic hasn’t changed—global central banks buying gold, de-dollarization, and uncertainty in geopolitics.

You’re cursing gold as trash now; three months from now, you might be snapping your leg in frustration.

When oil prices surge and gold falls, it’s not because gold is no longer a safe haven—it’s because the market is afraid of the Fed.

If you chase gold at 5,600, but you don’t dare to take gold at 4,000—the thing that changed isn’t gold; it’s your emotions.

Gold at 4,100 is the same thing as gold at 5,600. #GUSD年化升至3.8% #美终止对伊朗石油制裁豁免 #SK海力士ADR获超额认购 $BTC $ETH $XAU

$1,737 ETH, are you still holding?

BTC is still consolidating at 60k, while ETH has nearly dropped back to 1,600. The foundation is restructuring, Vitalik is cutting the budget, and the upgrade is delayed—everyone is cursing that "Ethereum is done." But every time despair is deepest, the bottom quietly appears.

First thing: Vitalik cuts the budget, and you think it's bearish?

In early July, the Ethereum Foundation restructured, and Vitalik announced a roughly 40% cut to the foundation's budget.

As soon as the news broke, the market's first reaction was—"The foundation is out of money? Is the project going under?"

Vitalik is not running away; he thinks the foundation is too bloated and inefficient. He is pushing a "Lean Ethereum" roadmap—slim down, focus, be efficient.

Look at his technical roadmap extending to 2029: recursive STARK proofs, quantum-resistant signatures, significantly lower gas fees, and privacy-first.

This is a five-year-long technological moat.

Second thing: The upgrade is delayed, and historical patterns tell me this is good

The Glamsterdam upgrade has been postponed from the first half to Q3 (late August).

Retail investors panic the moment they hear "delay."

But veteran investors know a pattern: when upgrades are delayed, the bull run is pushed back, and the gains are larger.

2020 beacon chain delay → 2021 bull market at $5,000

2023 Shanghai upgrade delay → 2024 spot ETF approval, surge to $4,000

2026 Glamsterdam delay → ?

Third thing: Don't let short-term prices blind you

TVL at $39 billion, the largest ecosystem across all chains—no contest

Staking lock-up exceeds 30% of supply, near all-time highs

EIP-1559 continuous burning, supply trending deflationary

74% of monthly active developers industry-wide are in the Ethereum ecosystem—that's the talent siphon effect

RWA tokenization share leading, institutional adoption accelerating

Price down 40%, but have fundamentals declined?

No.

TVL hasn't collapsed, developers haven't left, staking hasn't withdrawn, and L2 is still expanding.

Current price: $1,737

Resistance above: 1,800 (strong resistance, double-top supply zone), break above targets 1,900-2,000

Support below: 1,650-1,660 → 1,565 (liquidity pool) → 1,500-1,520 (strongest demand zone)

If you're stuck holding spot:

Don't cut losses. You've held from 4,000 down to 1,737—the most painful stage is already behind you. Cutting now is like those who cut ETH at $1,500 in 2022—they later watched it hit $4,000 and regretted it deeply.

If you want to buy the dip:

Scale in at 1,650-1,700 in batches, stop loss at 1,560. First target 1,800, if broken look at 2,000+. Don't go all in at once—enter in three batches.

If you're doing long-term DCA:

This is the value zone right now. Buy every $50 drop until Glamsterdam goes live. Looking back in 2027, $1,737 will seem like gold.

Cursing ETH now is no different from those who called BTC "digital garbage" when it fell to $16,000 in November 2022.

What happened next?

Bull runs don't exist without pullbacks—it's just that every pullback makes you think "this time is different."

By the time you think "this time is the same," the rally has already started.

Ethereum is still Ethereum. TVL is still there, developers are still there, and Vitalik is still planning for 2029.

One of the most frequently asked questions recently is whether $BTC 's current low of 57K is the bottom?

Another friend added that October is the low point of every cycle, and it might bottom out in October.

My opinion: I don't know if that price is the bottom, and I don't think it matters — what matters is when the trend forms.

But which phase or cycle might be the bottom can be anticipated in advance. Looking at the macro picture from a different perspective can reveal signals.

For reference:
- The bottom in 22-23 came only after consecutive rate hikes ended, then began to rebound.
- The bottom for the next rally in 24-25 only began after the ETF and Trump's inauguration.
- When the bottom will be for the 26 adjustment depends on whether macro bearish factors have fully landed and whether there are major macro bullish catalysts.

If there aren't any, then where the bottom is doesn't matter, because it will keep oscillating.

From Deribit's options indicators, there are a few pieces of information in this chart to reference:

1. Market call-to-put open interest ratio is 235k : 130k.
2. There's still a large position in 40K puts, with denser positions at 55-60.5K, indicating the market's bearish expectations haven't been eliminated. Even if it's not necessarily bearish to that level, even as a hedge against spot positions, it shows uncertainty.
3. Short-term bullish expectations at 70K suggest a significant amount of capital is optimistic about a short-term rebound.
4. Far-dated 100K calls are likely early accumulation of consensus for a subsequent rebound high.

From the options data, capital is still very cautious. This caution indirectly indicates high market uncertainty, at least still in a defensive mode. When some uncertain macro factors are basically cleared, a clearer and more defined direction can emerge.

Speaking of Deribit, I remember seeing an ad on X the other day — a trading competition giving away a small overseas island. An island costs only $30k. Movie stories about small islands flashed in my mind, but my first question was: How do I even get to that island? Haha.

The marketing idea is creative — it sparked people's instinctive curiosity.

I'm going to try trading. Not many participants right now, so competition is low. If I can win an island, I'd be someone with overseas fixed assets.

Just thinking about it makes me laugh, haha.

Bitcoin at $62k – are you panicking?

On July 8, Bitcoin fell to $62,000. It dropped 1.6% in 24 hours, with over 100k people liquidated across the market.

Just last week, it had surged to $64,500, reigniting hope that "the bull is back." But then the U.S. military struck over 80 targets in Iran, and Iranian missiles slammed directly into American military facilities in the Gulf region.

Oil prices skyrocketed, and risk assets plunged across the board.

First: Geopolitical conflict is bearish, but institutions haven't run.

On July 8, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net inflows for the third consecutive day, totaling $62k.

BlackRock's IBIT had a single-day net inflow of $54.799 million, bringing its total historical net inflow to $100k.

Second: The technical picture is indeed ugly, but not disastrous.

On the daily chart, BTC's price is far below the 50-day moving average ($65,997) and the 200-day moving average ($74,399). The 50-day MA has crossed below the 200-day MA, and the shadow of a "death cross" lingers.

MACD is in negative territory, with $64,000 acting as strong resistance – multiple rebounds in June were capped here.

But Bitcoin has just bounced from the 21-month low of $57,800. The $60,000 level has been staunchly defended by long-term buyers.

The 20-day MA provides weak support at $61,917. Analysts believe if $61,980 holds, a rebound to $63,747 is possible. If it fails, the next target is $58,000.

$60,000 is the line of life and death – break it, and panic selling will flood in; hold it, and a double bottom forms.

Third: On the macro front, inflation is the real time bomb.

The U.S. May CPI annual rate surged to 4.2%, the highest since April 2023. The Iran conflict has driven energy prices sharply higher, with gasoline up over 40%.

The Fed's June dot plot shows a cautious rate cut path. No inflation drop, no rate cuts, and risk assets remain under pressure.

On one hand:

- U.S.-Iran conflict escalates, weighing on all risk assets
- Weak technicals, $64,000 strong resistance
- High inflation, Fed reluctant to cut rates
- Panic spreading, retail cutting losses

On the other hand:

- Bitcoin spot ETFs net inflow for three consecutive days, BlackRock bought $54.8 million in one day
- $60,000 support stubbornly defended by bulls
- Long-term fundamentals unchanged: 21 million cap, continued institutional adoption
- New Hampshire advancing a $100 million Bitcoin-backed bond plan

Key levels:

- Upside resistance: $63,500-$64,000 → $64,500 → $65,000+
- Downside support: $60,000 (life-or-death line) → $57,800 → $55,000-$53,000

Short-term traders:

Short at $62,000, stop loss at $63,500. Or safer – wait. Short after a volume-driven break below $60,000, target $57,800; go long after a volume-driven break above $64,000, target $66,000-$68,000.

Swing traders:

Accumulate in batches at $60,000-$61,000, stop loss $58,500. Target $64,000-$65,000. This offers the best risk-reward – at most a 5% loss on the downside, up to 10% gain on the upside. If $60,000 is breached on volume, cut losses decisively.

Long-term believers:

Dollar-cost average blindly below $60,000. Citi's base-case target for Bitcoin is $143,000. Short-term noise doesn't change the long-term trend. But keep position size within 10-20% of total capital, leaving enough cash for black swan events.

You didn't cut at $57,800 – are you panicking at $62,000?

Geopolitical conflicts will end, inflation will ease, and the Fed will cut rates sooner or later.

But your chips, once sold, are gone.

Every bull run shakes you off in the most terrifying way.
