I have a feeling that Powell will resign by Q4.

After every major economic data, Trump is going after him for not cutting rates.

Today, Trump called Powell the dumbest and most destructive person in the government.

In September 2024, the Fed did a 50 BPS rate cut right before elections.

Back then, inflation and unemployment was almost at the same level.

I know that tariffs have created some uncertainty but the Fed has paused rates for 6 months now.
