After the nonfarm payroll data was released last Friday, gold prices quickly dropped 100 points, reaching a low around 4365. Since retreating from the spike to 4510, gold has also made several attempts to break above 4500, but none resulted in an effective breakout.
Gold prices began falling from the previous high around 4696, bottomed around 4282, and then staged a rebound recovery. This rebound merely reflects the excessive prior decline and does not constitute a reversal.

I’m not chasing the candle. I’m watching for a clean entry around support or a confirmed breakout.
