🔴Fed's Hammack: Monetary policy needs to be tighter
Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack said policy needs to be tightened to bring inflation back to the 2% target, as price pressures remain broad-based and stem from both supply and demand.
She supports an approach of raising interest rates in small increments but “more frequently.” Markets are currently pricing in a 70.5% chance of the Fed raising rates by 25 bps in December.
