PANews January 10 News, according to The Verge, a post on Reddit shows that a financial app called Betterment sent a suspicious notification to users, requesting them to send $10,000 to Bitcoin and Ethereum crypto wallets, promising to “triple your cryptocurrency.” Betterment officials stated that this was an “unauthorized message” sent through a “third-party system,” emphasizing that no such activity is taking place and advising users to ignore the notification.
