Gate Is Bringing US Stock Options Closer to Crypto Trading
Gate has officially launched U.S. stock options trading, opening with nine major names: NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Meta, AMD, Micron, Amazon, Alphabet and Broadcom. The launch went live on September 2 and allows eligible users to access calls and puts directly through Gate during regular U.S. market hours.
The Important Difference Is Settlement
These are not conventional share-delivery options. Positions are settled in USDT, meaning exercising an option does not result in receiving the underlying stock. Gate says

The expectation is higher than the previous reading, indicating marginal weakening in U.S. employment.

- If the release is >205,000: Weak employment, bullish for crypto prices in the short term；

- If the release is <203,000: Employment resilience exceeds expectations, likely bearish and putting pressure on the market.

2. U.S. July trade balance
Previous: -$73.3 billion; expect

Employment data weakened slightly, putting downward pressure on the U.S. dollar and briefly benefiting gold and the crypto market. Bitcoin rallied in response, reaching a high of around 78,400.
However, this was only mildly bullish, with no extreme data. The risk of a pullback after the spike remains, so avoid blindly chasing longs whenever the market rallies. $BTC $ETH
