The Fed just changed the market conversation.
On September 16, the Federal Reserve raised its policy rate by 25 bps to 3.75%–4.00%, marking its first rate hike since July 2023. The decision was unanimous, 12–0. But for me, the bigger story is not the 25 bps itself. It is the message behind the move: the Fed is still uncomfortable with inflation and is willing to keep financial conditions tight for longer.
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh made that message even clearer after the decision, saying inflation is still too high and that recent readings have not shown enough

Peter Schiff’s judgment: The Federal Reserve already lost its war on inflation in 2020.
He says the bond market did not collapse recently; it collapsed back in 2020, and everything since then has merely been a slow digestion process. He is also once again bringing the debate between BTC and gold to the forefront.
Schiff has consistently been bearish on Bitcoin, and his stance need not be adopted wholesale; but his framework that “debt and inflation are the long-term main theme, while short-term interest rates are noise” is worth putting into the comparison table.

Revolut Hackers Reportedly Demand $3M in Monero
Hackers reportedly demanded $3 million in Monero (XMR) from Revolut and threatened to sell customer data if the ransom was not paid within 24 hours.
The group reportedly claimed it targeted customers with significant crypto holdings.
However, Revolut has said it did not receive a direct ransom demand from the attackers.
The incident highlights why protecting personal data is just as important as securing crypto assets.

$IOST I’ll put it plainly: if 0.0009 doesn’t hold by tonight, I’ll livestream myself washing my hair upside down. The current price is 0.0009, up 15.88% in 24 hours. The high and low moved from 0.0007 to 0.0009, with a trading volume of 83.3M. That’s not volume retail investors can generate.
I just finished watching the order book, and $IOST this pump is interesting. It moved sideways around 0.0007 for nearly six hours this morning, with volume shrinking to dead-flat levels. Then, in the afternoon, two large orders suddenly swept through 0.0008, followed by the familiar script—momentum trader

The most unusual detail in today’s market is that beneath $MSTRB
’s calm appearance of rising just 0.26% over 24h, the funding rate has been pushed close to the zero line, with neither bulls nor bears willing to pay the other side—this “near-zero funding + price stickiness” structure usually means leveraged traders are waiting for a directional trigger rather than earning easy profits in a trend.
Breaking down the positioning: $MSTRB ’s current price is 128.96, MA5=128.312 has crossed above MA20=127.764, the MACD histogram at +0.3614 remains bullish, RSI 53.9 is in the neutral-to-strong zone,

The Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points for the first time in three years, bringing the rate to 3.75%–4%. I don't think the impact on the market can simply be understood as “rates are rising, so Bitcoin will fall.”
The actual transmission chain is: policy rates rise → the cost of dollar funding increases → U.S. Treasury yields come under upward pressure → market liquidity tightens → risk-asset valuations are compressed → funds are reallocated toward the dollar and low-risk assets.
For the crypto market, the most direct pressure comes from valuations and liquidity. In parti

Bitcoin faced another sharp pullback, with BTC falling around 3.3% over 24 hours and briefly trading near the $75,000 area.
The decline comes as crypto markets react to the failed U.S. Senate vote on the CLARITY Act, elevated Treasury yields, and uncertainty surrounding the Federal Reserve’s latest rate decision.
For traders, the $75,000–$76,000 zone remains an important area to watch. A sustained recovery above $77,000–$77,600 could improve short-term momentum, while renewed selling below $75,000 could increase downside volatility.

After $BR surged to 0.61803, I instead took 70% off first. It’s not that I’m bearish, but this level is right at the key prior-high resistance, making it less cost-effective to keep chasing. The move up from 0.43089 formed a breakout-pullback-breakout structure, with each pullback holding at a higher key level and volume expanding on the breakouts.

The key levels are clear now: the prior high is the first key level. If, after the breakout, price can pull back on lower volume and hold the upper boundary, that would provide a new entry setup; if it merely surges above and then falls back, it c

The Fed raised rates to 3.75%-4.00%, its first hike since July 2023, in a 12-0 vote. The dot plot signals another hike this year, with Warsh saying inflation is "too high and has lasted too long". BTC briefly fell to $75,355 before recovering near $75,800, down nearly 4% on the week; gold slid to $4,278, and all three major U.S. indices closed lower. Rate hikes are back — have you adjusted your positions?
