I assure you thats just a myth back tested and proven.
It just kicks the target from getting hit a bit further down the road.
Here we can see price action is forming higher highs and higher lows.
$BTC is testing the 3min 200MA if it is lost to the downside we will return to the 5min 200MA. (2nd pic)
This will allow the moving averages to tighten up again and pointed upwards.
