Last summer, I really enjoyed short-term trading. I’d open seven or eight positions a day, take a few points of profit, and get out. Seeing every trade make money felt great.
But when I did the math at the end of the month, I found that—trading fees had taken more than 100 U from me. After all my hard work for an entire month, I had made less than I paid in fees. It felt like hauling bricks at a construction site for a month, only to find out at payday that the foreman had taken most of the money.
