“My children will financially support me.”
Trust me, this is the worst retirement planning.
You brought children into the world, not a retirement fund.
Putting the burden on your children to cover your expenses is not only risky for you; it is also cruel to them. Tomorrow, they will have their own family, children, home, and inflation to deal with—how will they manage it all?
If a child serves you out of a sense of duty, that’s a different matter, but making them your retirement plan?
That’s wrong.
