Tangent has launched its first CryptoSwap market, supporting collateralized borrowing and lending for C/ETH LP. Compared with simply adding another lending pool, the expansion of the collateral asset boundary is the more noteworthy change.
This is not an ordinary collateral expansion. Previously, the volatile assets in the HEC collateral pool all belonged to the StableSwap system. This marks Tangent’s first inclusion of CryptoSwap non-stable pool LPs within the collateral scope, formally expanding from stable LP assets to non-stable pool assets such as C/ETH, which fluctuate in both directions

When you see “a surge in trading volume,” don’t rush to add a stirring soundtrack to the market. Is that figure counting coins or money?
Coinbase Exchange’s stats documentation is very clear: volume is measured in the base currency. The volume for BTC-USD is the amount of BTC, not the dollar trading volume.
Before comparing two charts, first verify the exchange, trading pair, statistical period, and unit. Don’t mix up 24-hour volume with 30-day volume; you also can’t directly compare the number of BTC with the number of ETH to determine which attracted more capital.
