AI Stocks Are Losing Billions, and Crypto Is Feeling the Shockwave: Is This the Beginning of a Broader Risk-Off Market?

The biggest threat to cryptocurrency markets right now may not be coming from inside crypto. It may be coming from Wall Street's technology sector.

On November 5, 2026, US financial markets experienced a sharp technology-led sell-off. The Nasdaq Composite plunged 5.5%, the S&P 500 declined 4.4%, and the semiconductor sector suffered particularly heavy losses. Bitcoin also dropped approximately 5%, falling back toward $76,000.

BITCOIN ETF OUTFLOWS CONTINUE: WHY ARE INVESTORS PULLING MONEY OUT OF BTC FUNDS?

📊 What just happened?

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have experienced another period of significant withdrawals, raising concerns about institutional demand for Bitcoin.

Between November 2 and November 5, 2026, these investment products recorded approximately $869.8 million in combined net outflows. Three of the four trading sessions ended negatively, while only one recorded positive flows.

November 5 was particularly difficult, with approximately $430.2 million leaving Bitcoin ETFs in a sing

Why do so many people keep losing money in a ranging market?
In crypto trading, many people prefer trending markets because they can go long when prices rise and short when they fall, making the direction relatively easy to judge.
But what often causes many traders to keep losing money is a ranging market.
Why?
First, ranging markets are especially prone to creating false breakouts. BTC may just break through an important resistance level, making people think an uptrend is about to begin, but the price soon falls back into its previous range. Traders who chase the rally get trapped, while thos

Don’t rush to shout “AI is over”—this looks more like a leverage washout, not the end of the story

Thursday’s big red candle was genuinely frightening. The Nasdaq fell 5.52%, and the Nasdaq 100 fell 6.36%, marking their biggest single-day declines since March 2020. Around $2.5 trillion in market value was wiped out in a single day. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged 12.25%, with all 30 of its components falling. AMD dropped 17.26%, and Nvidia fell 9.26%, wiping out $446.6 billion in market value. Those numbers are enough to make anyone’s heart skip a beat.

But here’s the thing: the

I laughed at the news this morning that RWA on Solana had topped 5 billion. Looking at the market now, I’m not laughing anymore—it’s hovering just above 90 in the short term, down more than 5% this week, and still nowhere near the level to watch.

Last night’s nonfarm payrolls data crushed the last bit of hope. Employment came in above expectations, Treasury yields shot up, and money flowed out of risk assets. Even Bitcoin couldn’t hold up and got hammered lower. With liquidity draining away, who expects anything to swim against the current? SOL is following the same trend; billions in on-chai

AMD closed at 449.03 (+11.55%) after a violent washout. Price dumped hard from the 579 zone into the 402 low, then staged a sharp recovery. After-hours is slightly softer at 448.14. Volume was heavy on both the sell-off and the bounce. Overall structure remains corrective after the October peak near 658.

Support: 433–430 (day low cluster) → 402.10 (major low)
Resistance: 460 (MA10) → 480–490 → 512–520 (MA30 zone)
Immediate pivot: 449–452

Clear distribution after the 579 high. Series of lower highs and aggressive red candles into the 402 low. The bounce produced a strong green candle

It’s November 7, 2026. I started with 60U and have now grown it to 127U, trading fixed 0.01 lots with 1,000x leverage. Why have I only made this much? Because this strategy took nearly a month of all-night research to develop.

Although I’ve only been trading officially for two short days, this system is pretty sharp at capturing market movements. Its win rate is actually 85%, with a maximum drawdown of 24%. You can see for yourselves from the timestamps and entry and exit prices in my trade history. No holding losing positions, no oversized trades—just steady gains from a high win rate.

U.S. stocks crashed—will BTC follow? How will crypto markets fare amid contagion in risk appetite?

An epic selloff in U.S. stocks means the crypto market cannot remain unscathed. The logic is simple: risk appetite is contagious.

When the Nasdaq falls 5.52% and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index drops 12.25%, the “risk budget” for global risk assets is collectively squeezed. Institutions that have lost money in U.S. stocks need to reduce their overall risk exposure, and BTC, as a highly liquid risk asset, will be trimmed along with them. This isn’t about whether “BTC has anything to do with

Many people use funding rates as a contrarian indicator and blindly buy the dip when they see negative rates. This is a common misconception. Funding rates only show which side has a higher cost of holding positions; for the actual direction, you need to see whether price confirms it. $CYBER The current price is 0.326, down 10.69% over 24h, with a funding rate of -0.1223%. Shorts are continuously paying to hold positions, indicating that the short side is crowded and willing to pay the cost, but price has not accelerated downward. MA5 at 0.3262 is close to the current price, while MA20 at 0.3

U.S. stocks sold off sharply on Thursday, November 5 (UTC). The Nasdaq closed down around 5.5%, entering correction territory, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged roughly 12%, with chip stocks including $NVDA and $AMD posting steep losses. Beyond profit-taking, investors are growing concerned about the pace of AI data center construction, capital spending, and future returns on investment. The key question now is whether the AI sector’s lofty growth expectations need to be repriced. Where do you think the next opportunities will emerge: chip stocks, tech giants, or other sectors?
