For those who have run Bitcoin Core txindex, having it chew through tens of GB of disk space is definitely no small matter.
Last night at 22:20 Beijing time, Bitcoin Core PR #35531 was merged into master. In the author’s mainnet testing, txindex was reduced from approximately 66GB to 26GB, saving about 40GB. Rebuilding also dropped from 1 hour 50 minutes to 1 hour 19 minutes, while getrawtransaction queries remained at around 0.2ms.
How does it save space? Previously, the database key stored the complete 32-byte txid directly; the new approach uses a salted 5-byte SipHash prefix and packs tra

At the 63k level for BTC, many people are panicking, but what I see is the “demystification” of the asset.
BTC is increasingly resembling a macro asset, and is even being somewhat “drained” by US stocks. Gold is fluctuating at highs, US stocks are recovering, while BTC is eating dust.
On top of that, the continuous ETF outflows and Coinbase’s premium index showing negative values for 90 consecutive days indicate that domestic US buying power is indeed in a vacuum.
Citigroup has conducted research showing that ETFs can determine 45% of crypto market volatility. Now that institutional spot buyin

Is Bitcoin about to have its final dance?
For now, my personal analysis remains bearish: after so many days of consolidation, there will be one final drop, followed by a period of consolidation before the bull market officially returns.
Bitcoin’s hashrate has fallen by 17%. This means miners are capitulating. We usually observe this phenomenon during the final stage of a downtrend.
It feels like Bitcoin is about to begin a parabolic rally.

Every time they say it’s the final drop, there are still eighteen more floors after it. But this time, the drop in hashrate is somewhat interesting—it could be the bottom zone.

On August 16, 2026, ETH futures continued their “electrocardiogram-like” ultra-narrow consolidation near $1,880. The price is trapped between short-term moving averages, with volatility compressed to an extreme. Such extreme calm is often a precursor to a major move.
📊 Key battleground levels between bulls and bears
· Current price and structure: Approximately $1,880-$1,884, between the 20-day EMA ($1,883.96) and 50-day EMA ($1,866.95), with the price center showing no clear upward shift.
· Overhead resistance: $1,910-$1,920 is the first hurdle, while the core “ceiling” lies in the $1,920-$1,

I kept watching $BTC and the interesting part isn’t the small bounce — it’s how compressed the range has become. BTC is hovering near $63K, while the bigger structure still looks like consolidation/correction rather than a clean trend.
$BTC — WAIT / CONDITIONAL LONG
Current price: ~$63,070
24H: +0.1%
24H High: $63,114.63
24H Low: $62,861.87
Volume: ~$9.8B
1H Market Structure
BTC is stuck between nearby support and the larger $65K resistance. Price remains below key medium/long-term averages, so I don't want to chase strength here.
The Key Observation
$62,250–$62,500 is the level I care about.

🔥 “My mom gave me $600k to come learn from you.”
📌 When I saw this message, honestly, I felt pretty uneasy.
Not because of the $600k, but because he said—
He had been scammed twice before after becoming an apprentice in other circles, and it left him traumatized.
But this time, his mother said: “Go learn from Bidaoge.”
💡 A mother was willing to take out $600k to let her son learn trading skills from a trader he had never met,
This trust wasn’t given to me, but to her son.
She believed this investment could help him learn a genuine skill that could make money.

$LIT ‌is trading in a neutral range between $2.241 support and $2.438 resistance, with momentum at 55/100 — not particularly exciting. The price is sitting near support, which could offer a decent risk-reward entry if buyers step in. However, the breakout is unconfirmed, and volume is weak. I'd consider a long position only if we see a confirmed bounce off support or a breakout above resistance.
Entry zone: $2.241 – $2.438 (watch for bounce or breakout)
Targets: TBD after confirmation
Stop loss: TBD
Moderate potential — wait for confirmation. Always DYOR.

$1.1 billion came in, but BTC didn't rise; $330 million went out, but BTC didn't fall—have ETF flows "stopped working"?
From August 3 to 7, U.S. spot BTC and ETH ETFs saw combined net inflows of approximately $1.1 billion.
Bitcoin ETFs accounted for $865 million of that.
And then?
Bitcoin's price barely budged. It kept churning within the $62,000–$65,000 range.
It gets even more surreal.
From August 10 to 14, Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of approximately $329 million.
By "common sense," the price should have crashed, right?
Bitcoin still didn't fall. During the same period, BTC's UTC closing
