A Full Moon, A Failed Vote, and Why I Am Still Bullish After CLARITY
Last night I was watching the full moon with my family, and at the same time watching the Senate live count on my phone. At 02 15 UTC plus 8, the CLARITY Act procedural vote came in. 49 to 50. Failed.
Everyone in the comments was shouting bearish. I think the opposite. Let me explain why this 49-50 failure is actually a gift for traders like us on Gate.
First, what really happened in Washington
The Senate needed 60 votes to move forward. This is called cloture. Republicans have 53

Sorry, we failed.
As expected, the CLARITY Act failed to pass, with the final vote ending in a 50 VS 50 tie.
Simply put, the bill would classify cryptocurrencies, determine which fall under the SEC’s jurisdiction and which under the CFTC’s, and establish the rules exchanges must follow to register.
After being dragged out for more than a year, it’s starting to feel a bit like the ETF saga back then.
Promise me: after today’s drop, it can’t drop again tomorrow when the FOMC raises interest rates. 🥹

Bitcoin saw a rebound overnight, with the price rising to around 77300 at its highest before failing to hold, after which bears quickly stepped in and launched a new round of downward movement. The morning low fell to around 74900, retesting the 75000 support area. The price has now rebounded slightly to around 75700, while the overall market remains in a weak consolidation pattern.
Technically, the rebound highs have been gradually declining while the lows continue to hit new levels. The drop to 74900 has broken below the previous key support at 75000, and the bearish structure remains intact

9.16 Gold Morning Analysis

The midnight-session rebound-and-short strategy was validated as expected. The price came under pressure and pulled back, with the resistance zone effectively suppressing bullish momentum. The price movement matched expectations, and gold is currently around 4285.

Technical analysis: The 1-hour Bollinger Bands are narrowing downward, with gold trading below the middle band; the 30-minute Bollinger Bands are opening downward, the short-term rebound lacks momentum, bears have once again taken the upper hand, and the bearish trend on the larger timeframe continues.

$PI I don't believe that a distributed-ledger blockchain network that has been under construction for seven years—or 41 years, so to speak—with people from more than 200 countries around the world participating, numbering in the tens of millions, could fail, could it?! Even an air coin like Shitcoin can succeed; could a useful tool intended to carry out a “revolution” fail? Surely the Lao Si guys won't treat believers as leeks to harvest, will they? “Pi is a revolution” isn't just child's play, is it?

Why is Gate suddenly “running so fast”?
CryptoQuant data shows that Gate’s spot trading volume has entered the global top 3. More notably, its 30-day spot growth reached +667%, ranking first globally, while its derivatives trading volume growth also ranked among the global top 3.
Looking only at the words “ranked first globally” can easily spark excitement, but what is truly worth examining is the structure of the growth.
An exchange’s growth essentially depends on three things: users, products, and trading activity. If users come but there is not a sufficiently diverse range of products, they

$AIN Signal】Long + above the 1H EMA20, with slightly thicker bids in the order book
$AIN 4H RSI 92.62, 1H RSI 65, price above the 1H EMA20 at 0.1693, order book bid-to-ask ratio 1.17, with bids slightly thicker. The 1H MACD histogram at -0.0022 continues to expand, the 4H MACD red histogram is narrowing, OI is stable, and the funding rate is 0.0043%. The current price of 0.18178 is near the upper boundary of the entry range, so the strategy is mainly to accumulate through limit orders. Risk-reward ratio 1.5, with the stop-loss distance close to 5% and a clearly defined risk boundary.

$LINK On this short trade, I’m placing more emphasis on the pullback after the false breakout of the previous high. There was no follow-through when it first pushed into the key level, and it lost that level again on the retest, so I opened a short around 11.419 rather than chasing the wick. After entering, I’m first watching whether it can break below the previous low; until it does, I’m treating this as a probing position.

At this point, the price has reached 10.981, and the account shows +272.78%. As planned, I first closed 80%, with the remaining 20% placed at a protective level. This is

$ETH has returned to the $2,380–$2,400 demand zone after dropping 6.23%.
Bulls need to reclaim $2,450 first. Above that, $2,500 becomes the next test.
If $2,380 fails, another move toward $2,300 becomes possible.
This is a confirmation zone, not a blind entry.

$SOL Solana : Triangle Breakdown—Is This Really a Bearish Reversal?
Solana : Triangle Breakdown—Is This Really a Bearish Reversal?
SOL has broken below a visible triangle structure on the H4 chart.
At first glance, this looks bearish.
But when we zoom out and look at the higher-timeframe structure and the logarithmic chart, the picture becomes more complicated.
The breakdown has happened, but several important support levels below price have not yet been decisively lost.
That matters.
A pattern can break while the larger market structure is still intact.
So I don't consider this a high-convict

Watching the market nonstop got annoying; turning it off actually made things clearer. Once my eyes stopped staring at it, my heart stopped panicking too.
While it was bottoming out intraday, I was watching the $BTC long position. It was grinding along the bottom without breaking support, while funds quietly entered. I said just one thing at the time: don’t make random moves; wait for it to choose a direction on its own.
From 63014.1 to 75458.4, +3432.77% gave us the answer. Those who got the timing right and were already aboard should be waking up laughing.

The U.S. Senate will hold a key procedural vote on the CLARITY Act on September 15, requiring 60 votes to advance with Republicans holding 53 seats. Kalshi data shows the odds of passage this year have fallen to 25%, with ethics provisions and stablecoin yield still unresolved. What would advancing the bill mean for crypto markets?
