After gold prices hit 4416, they encountered selling pressure and quickly pulled back, with signs of pressure emerging at the highs. The current slight rebound is merely a technical correction, with suspicion of a bull trap.
From the 5-minute timeframe, the surge formed a long upper shadow, upward momentum rapidly weakened, and bulls lacked sufficient strength to break higher.
Intraday short-term resistance is concentrated around 4410‑4420, with 4370 serving as key support. Once breached, further downside will open up.
