Ethereum staking reached a historical high, currently at 34.8 million ETH.
Gate News bot message, the amount of ETH staked on the beacon chain reached a historical high of 34.65 million ETH last Sunday, surpassing the record set on November 10, 2024.
Over the past year, the amount of ETH staked has remained relatively stable, staying above 33 million ETH. According to data from the network browser Beaconcha.in, the staking amount began to rise in June.
A higher amount of staking indicates that more holders are unwilling to sell at the current level, but are more inclined to earn returns through staking.
Dune Analytics data shows that as of Monday, a total of 34.8 million ETH has been staked (Note: Ultrasound.Money reports the staked amount as 34.7 million ETH).
