3 Tokens have notable unlock events in April

Three large token unlock events related to PRCL, DBR, and SCR will take place in April.

Parcl will unlock 161.7 million PRCL on April 16, followed by deBridge unlocking 1.11 billion DBR on April 17 and Scroll releasing 40 million SCR on April 22.

On April 17, 1.11 billion BDR tokens, worth approximately 32.19 million USD, will be unlocked. This unlocking event will nearly double the current circulating supply, adding about 95% more tokens to the market.

This allocation includes 400 million BDR for core contributors, 340 million for strategic partners, and 176.93 million for the ecosystem. The remainder belongs to the community, organizations, and validators.

Despite the upcoming unlock, the price of deBridge has still risen by nearly 38% over the past month, with a market capitalization now approaching 34 million USD.

Scroll is a Layer-2 solution built to enhance the scalability and efficiency of Ethereum. The zkRollup technology is used to reduce transaction costs and increase throughput, helping to address issues such as high gas fees and congestion.

On April 22, 40 million SCR tokens, worth approximately 11.52 million USD, will be unlocked. This unlocking event could bring additional liquidity to the market and potentially rekindle interest in Scroll.

The price of SCR has decreased by about 46% in the past 30 days, with a market capitalization of 55 million USD, down significantly from the peak of 265 million USD in October 2024.

All 40 million tokens are allocated for the airdrop.
