#每周来晒 #沃什IMF讲话 Fed Chair Kevin Warsh Keeps Markets Guessing as Bitcoin Trades Near $81,550
The October 16 IMF fireside chat delivered a crucial message for global markets: the Federal Reserve remains focused on price stability, but its next interest-rate decision is not predetermined. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh discussed persistent inflation, economic resilience, and the growing influence of artificial intelligence on investment and productivity without committing to another rate increase. For Bitcoin traders, the significance lies in how these economic signals influence the US dollar, Treasury yie

Domino Effect: How One Fed Chair's Silence Helped Seoul Bounce Back
Two headlines are sitting side by side today: Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's IMF chat and the KOSPI's sharp rebound. They are connected, and the closing numbers tell a more careful story than the 3.3% headline. I laid it out as a chain of dominoes.
THE INFLATION SHOCK
September CPI came in at 3.7% against 3.6% expected, and producer prices jumped far more than forecast. That revived rate-hike fears across global markets. The Fed had already raised rates by a quarter point to about 3.9% in September, its first increase in three years.
BLACK THURSDAY IN SEOUL
Korea took the hit first. The KOSPI plunged more than 7% on October 15 and triggered a circuit breaker. It closed at 5,554.22, down 454.59 points or 7.57%. The chip giants were crushed: Samsung Electronics fell 9.48% and SK hynix 11.06%. Foreign investors dumped about 3.6 trillion won of KOSPI stocks in a single session. The fear was a mix of inflation worries, tighter monetary policy and doubts about the sustainability of AI infrastructure spending.
WARSH DECLINES TO SHOW HIS HAND
Then came Bangkok. At the IMF fireside chat, Warsh refrained from signaling whether the Fed will hike again this month. His words: "I don't prejudge meetings." He also noted that central banks worldwide have tightened in sync, meaning there are no free riders, and voiced optimism that AI will lift productivity, though the road will be very bumpy. Bloomberg noted he said nothing to dispel expectations that the Fed will hold at its October 27-28 meeting.
The market read it as slightly softer. Saxo's Charu Chanana said his refusal to commit to another hike led some hike bets to unwind. USD/JPY slipped back under 158 as the dollar weakened, and Nasdaq futures rose on his AI remarks.
THE REBOUND, BY THE NUMBERS
- Opening: the KOSPI opened at 5,653.99, up 1.80%.
- Intraday: it kept climbing, with one report showing a 3.3% gain and another noting a high of 5,809.94 during the session. By my math that peak is about 4.6% above Thursday's close.
- Closing bell: it ended up 113.83 points, or 2.05%, at 5,668.05, the first higher close in eight sessions. So the headline surge of 3.3% was an intraday moment, and more than half of the peak gain was given back.
- KOSDAQ: it jumped 4.46% to 794.78.
- Chips: Samsung Electronics closed at 215,500 won, up 2.62%, and SK hynix at 1.272 million won, up 0.79%.
THE FLOW CHECK: WHO WAS BUYING?
This matters most. Foreign investors ended an eight-session selling streak, turning net buyers for the first time in eight trading days. The size is debated: one tally put it at 172.1 billion won, a fraction of the more than 3.6 trillion won sold on October 15, while another showed 342.8 billion won. Either way, it is a relief signal, not a trend. And as one analyst pointed out, 80 to 90 percent of foreigners' cumulative net selling this year has been concentrated in Samsung Electronics and SK hynix.
IS THE BOTTOM IN?
Nobody can say. Bulls point to the fact that earnings forecasts for Samsung and SK hynix have recently been revised upward, and KB Securities called the plunge a case of excessive concern priced in ahead of time. One analyst even floated a possible W-shaped rebound. Bears note that the bounce may prove to be only a technical rebound rather than a trend reversal.
THE CRYPTO ANGLE FOR GATE SQUARE
Crypto has been tracking the same macro tape. BTC dipped to $79,950 on October 15, then rebounded and traded around $82,331 by Friday morning. Bitcoin is still headed for a second straight weekly loss. The link is simple: softer dollar and calmer rate fears help risk assets everywhere, from Seoul chips to BTC.
WHAT I AM WATCHING NEXT
1. Whether foreign flows stay positive for a second session.
2. How Samsung and SK hynix hold above this week's lows.
3. The Fed meeting on October 27-28.
4. Whether AI-financing worries ease or return.
5. BTC holding the $80,000 zone.
MY TAKE
Warsh did not calm the market with a promise. He calmed it by refusing to add a new scare, and that was enough for a bounce. But a bounce after a 7.57% crash is just the first step. I would treat this as relief, not confirmation, and keep risk tight until the data agrees.

80k people were liquidated overnight, oil surged past $110, but the real landmine isn’t in the candlestick charts.
In the week of October 17, hotter-than-expected US CPI and PPI briefly fueled rate-hike expectations; after officials struck a cautious tone, an October pause became the baseline, but the risk of another hike this year hasn’t gone away.
The AI sector is shifting from chasing computing power to calculating returns: highly leveraged infrastructure players like CoreWeave were sold off, while TSMC’s Q3 net profit rose 69%, showing chip demand remains resilient. Investors are distingui

Altcoins Are an Undead Army. They Only Move When $BTC Feels Something. 🧟
BTC chops between $80K and $82K. Alts twitch with it. No independent bid. No independent sell. They rise when BTC sniffs higher. They fall the second BTC loses a level. Classic beta. No narrative strong enough to break the chain.
The Setup:
Until BTC closes outside the range, most alts stay dead weight. The ones that hold relative strength while BTC chops are the only ones worth watching. Everything else is just following the leader’s mood.

Keep shorting! $NEAR Is the surge a conspiracy? Whales are wiping out the market—retail traders, get out now!
Every candlestick is drenched in blood; good news is often the best cover for major players.
I’m Lao Zhang. Looking at the 1-hour chart, the good news about the return of the exploited funds is purely a pump-and-dump by major players. The 1D fund flow shows net outflows of over 70 million, while whales are heavily positioned long and in profit (average price 4.44), with short positions stacked above at 5.4.
Lao Zhang believes the major players’ intentions are clear: use the good news t

What the tape is saying
The bounce off $80K was real. The failure to hold $82K was also real. Volume is lighter. No new bid is forcing a break higher. No new seller is forcing a break lower. Classic post-flush chop.
The Setup:
$80K is the floor that held. $82.5K–$83K is the ceiling that rejected. Until one of those breaks on a close, every move inside is noise. Don’t

U.S. debt has topped $40 trillion, and Fidelity has spotted a shift worth watching: Bitcoin’s correlation with the U.S. 10-year real interest rate rose above 0.6 in 2026.
According to reports, over the past two months, BTC has gained nearly 30%, while Treasury yields have also risen by more than 10%.
Conventional wisdom says higher interest rates increase the opportunity cost of holding BTC. But when markets start worrying about mounting debt and fiscal sustainability, Bitcoin’s 21 million supply cap may also become a reason for investors to pay attention.
Still, correlation doesn’t imply caus

Why now? The daily range means the market is coiled, and the 1h ATR of 0.719812 confirms enough fuel for a decisive move. The 15m RSI at 54.78 shows the short side is not yet exhausted, which makes the entry zone of 99.3 to 99.5 the logical place to initiate. The 1h price sitting at 99.3 aligns perfectly with that entry, while the target TP1 at 97.6 and TP2 at 96.5 define a clear reward path. This trade ignore
