At 22:00, it broke above, with 690k lots of volume driving it to 81.803.
It didn’t hold.
At 23:00, it closed at 79.838, dropping back below 80.403.
Here’s the difference: I only count the closing price; that candle just poked above and pulled back.
It pulled back faster than it got there.
At 05:00, it surged again to 81.592, just 0.21 below the previous high.
The second push failed to clear the previous high, so the makings of a double top are there.
