ASML already reported this morning, and TSMC reports tomorrow, Oct 15, with its call at 14:00 Taiwan time. So one print is known and one is still a bar to clear. Here’s how I’m splitting it.
1. ASML: what came in
Q3 sales were €11.66B, a record and almost exactly on the ~€11.66B consensus, inside the €11–12B guide. Gross margin was 57.5% against a 55–57% guide. Installed base sales hit €3.29B versus about €2.9B guided, roughly 13% above. Net income was €4.96B and EPS €12.95, up from €7.59 in Q2.

Does a bullish moving-average alignment always mean you should chase? Not necessarily—the key is to assess the deviation between the price and moving averages, as well as whether momentum indicators have already been overextended.

But as the time horizon lengthens, the probability gradually declines: it falls to 82% by the end of October and further to 62% by mid-November.

$BTC CPI data is about to be released! The range is waiting for the data to break out
The market remains range-bound, waiting for the impact of tonight's CPI news, with neither bulls nor bears daring to make a major move in the short term. The key focus on the news front is this CPI inflation data. If inflation is higher than expected, it will reinforce expectations of higher interest rates and weigh on the market; if inflation declines, it will boost risk assets and provide momentum for a rebound. The data could quickly break the current narrow range, so be sure to manage risk when placing or
