As usual around FOMC, they tried to hunt liquidity on both sides of the range.
That’s exactly why I wanted more than just a wick above $64.5K. The move was designed to bait traders into chasing a breakout before reversing.
A compound breakout would always be a much stronger confirmation of genuine strength than a simple scam wick.
The setup remains bearish for me, so I’m sticking with my downside targets for now.
