Back then, when I was paying attention to it, the price was still consolidating in a low range. On the 1-hour timeframe, it slowly worked its way into a breakout with expanding volume; the moving averages started to turn upward, and the buy-side follow-through was clearly stronger.
So after the breakout, at the pullback entry point, I chose to go long. I didn’t chase the absolute high, but waited for the market to offer an opportunity.
