IT Home reports that on November 5, NVIDIA published a technical analysis noting that large models, long context windows, and agent applications are increasing pressure on GPU memory, while HBM supplies are tightening and prices are rising. It proposed a full-stack co-design approach: compress weights and the KV cache with NVFP4, tier context across CPU memory and CMX storage, and keep RAG indexes on the CPU and storage side.
