The results were basically no surprise:
CPI rose 3.4% year-on-year, continuing to slow from 3.5% in June;
Core CPI rose 2.5% year-on-year, also falling by 0.1 percentage points.
The month-on-month data also fully matched market expectations.
The probability of a rate hike in September has declined, but another round of inflation data will be released before the September meeting. Next up is the main event: the Jackson Hole central bank annual meeting.

8.13 ZEC Previous Review and Outlook
The previous ZEC call was bullish at 470; it may have endured a few points of volatility, but that did not affect the subsequent gains, capturing more than 30 points of upside!
The Bollinger Bands on the chart are currently narrowing, with the price hovering near the middle band. A direction will likely be chosen in the short term—a precursor to a change in market direction.
