Bitcoin faking us out again? After plunging all weekend, $BTC hit just above $80,000 at its low last night. A big green candle this morning sent it V-shaped back up, and it’s acting like nothing happened, climbing back above 82400. But whether this rebound is “made of paper” or “built to last” depends on what happens to volume next.
The chart shows a clear breakout on the 15-minute timeframe, but volume hasn’t followed. It looks more like a “fake breakout” driven by short covering than a genuine move fueled by buyers putting real money on the line. Market sentiment is very delicate right now.

Ethereum’s expected main battleground for October is the 2300–2500 range.
The market sees 2500 as the baseline expectation, but the probability of falling back to 2300 is also significant, with considerable disagreement between bulls and bears; a push to 2600 is a low-probability event that would require additional positive catalysts.
Compared with the short-term market for the 10.19 expiry, holding above 2300 in the short term is highly certain, but over the full October cycle, the risk of retesting 2300 is priced in, while a rally to 2600 appears difficult.

#山寨币反弹势头消退 Altcoins still have a chance to rebound, but it looks more like a rotation-driven recovery and is difficult to view as the start of a new broad-based rally for now.
As of October 19, BTC was around $82,611, up intraday; ETH was consolidating near $2,400. Only after BTC holds its recent lows will altcoins have room to rotate higher.

· ETF flows are still negative: For the week ended October 16, BTC spot ETFs saw net outflows of about $228 million, while ETH spot ETFs saw about $320 million.
