The U.S. July CPI inflation data will be released at 8:30 p.m., and it is also the key recent factor influencing gold prices.
The data will indirectly affect the Federal Reserve’s subsequent policy direction and largely determine gold’s short-term trend. The battle between bulls and bears is expected to be relatively intense tonight.
