#GateAtTOKEN2049 “One Gate, Everything Money”: Gate Money Launches as Gate Connects Crypto, Stocks, Payments and Global Finance
Gate’s presence at TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 was about more than brand visibility. The central development was the launch of Gate Money, introduced by Gate Founder and CEO Dr. Han during his October 7 keynote, “One Gate, Everything Money: For a World That Never Stops.” The announcement signals a strategic shift: connecting financial services that users traditionally access through separate platforms into a more unified experience. The key question now is whether that i

Market Date: 12 October 2026 BTC Reference Price: $83,040 My Market View: Cautious Below Resistance, Bullish After Confirmation
Bitcoin is approaching a critical structural decision point. Following a sharp correction and a recovery attempt, BTC must prove that buyers can regain control before a sustainable bullish continuation becomes convincing.
My approach is based on price structure, liquidity, institutional ETF flows, macroeconomic catalysts, and disciplined risk management.

Many people instinctively want to buy the dip when they see a drop of over 20% in 24 hours. This is a typical misconception of equating a “large decline” with “being cheap.” $LUMIA The problem now is not that it has fallen too much, but that the moving-average structure has already broken down.
First, the structure: MA5=0.11278 remains below MA20=0.11838, and the short- and medium-term moving averages remain in a bearish alignment. The price of 0.1084 is running close to the Bollinger lower band at 0.104682, which is a weak move along the band rather than an oversold rebound pattern. The MACD

#每周来晒 #韩股大跌你会抄底吗 Korean stocks plunge 3.65%: This is not a “pullback,” but the “payback moment for the AI bubble in the first half” — bottom-fishing? First see whether foreign capital returns
Today (10/12), the KOSPI plunged 3.65% to close at 6,384 points, hitting a new low since 8/11; Samsung Electronics fell 4.39%, while SK hynix fell 4.52%
Is this a “short-term pullback”? No — this is the squeezing out of the valuation bubble from the “world’s strongest AI rally” in the first half (the KOSPI once rose over 101%), the middle stage of a “medium-term correction,” not an “unjustified sell-off.”
Bottom-fishing?
My answer: mainly wait and see. The reason is simple: the buyers today were retail investors (net purchases of 1.47 trillion won); those fleeing today were foreign investors (net sales of 2.02 trillion won) — historically, this setup has rarely marked a bottom.

I. Why the drop: Three major pressures hit at once
① Cooling AI narrative (the core factor). The direct trigger was the retreat from AI trades sparked by concerns over OpenAI’s revenue — Korean stocks are on the front line of the global AI trade (Samsung and SK hynix = memory/HBM), so when AI cools, they take the first hit. U.S. chip stocks already fell last week (SoftBank down 5%+, Kioxia also fell), and today it was Korea’s turn to catch up.
② Systematic foreign capital outflows (the most dangerous factor). Foreign ownership of Samsung Electronics has fallen to 46.37% — the lowest since 2009 (17 years) — smart money has been steadily exiting; this is not a one-day event (the KOSPI has fallen 22%+ since July).
③ ASML price hikes (a new negative factor). ASML notified Samsung and SK hynix that prices for lithography-machine components supplied to Korea will uniformly rise 10% (starting in 2027) — higher costs will squeeze profit margins, pouring cold water on the “profit story” for semiconductor stocks.

II. Why this is “not a short-term pullback”: Look at the structure
- Q3 fell 22%: +101% in the first half → among the worst globally in Q3 — this is not a “drop too far, then rebound” pattern, but a “valuation reverting to fundamentals” pattern
- Trading volume plunged + retail investors exited: market interest is dispersing, not building
- The won strengthened + Korean bond yields fell: capital is moving toward “safe-haven assets,” not “risk assets”

III. Bottom-fishing or waiting and watching? — My answer is “wait and see”
Why wait and see?
- Retail investors buying what foreign investors are selling = a textbook “catching a falling knife” setup — retail’s 1.47 trillion won was fed by foreign investors’ 2.02 trillion won in selling
- CPI is due on 10/14: the macro picture is still unsettled, and a high-beta market like Korean stocks will amplify volatility
- The AI narrative has not stabilized: until OpenAI concerns are resolved, any “rebound” in semiconductor stocks is jumping the gun

When can we act?
1. Foreign investors turn to net buyers — this is the most important signal: who is buying determines where the bottom is
2. The AI narrative stabilizes: OpenAI/U.S. chip stocks stop falling, and HBM orders recover (watch SK hynix’s earnings guidance)
3. The KOSPI stabilizes on heavy volume in the 6,200–6,300 range — falling no further + buyers stepping in = a left-side entry zone

This wave in Korean stocks is “AI bubble deflation + foreign capital withdrawal,” not a “golden pit” — retail buying, foreign capital exiting, the narrative cooling, and CPI coming up: all four reasons point to “wait a little longer.” For bottom-fishing in Korean stocks, wait until foreign capital returns; until it does, keeping your hands off is a gain.

After the sharp drop in South Korean stocks, many people have been asking whether this is a buying opportunity. I want to highlight a key judgment from Morgan Stanley’s latest research report: weakness in memory stocks’ share prices may lead earnings peaks by 4 to 8 months.
What does this mean? Samsung and SK hynix’s quarterly profits are indeed still hitting records, but share prices trade on expectations, not the past. Morgan Stanley strategist Shawn Kim explicitly noted that the market is pricing in “slower price increases, a slowdown in earnings upgrades, and increased future supply.” Even

#每周来晒 #韩股大跌你会抄底吗 Foreign capital outflows hit a 17-year low, yet retail investors are catching the falling knife: South Korea’s market bottom has never been formed by retail investors 🕳️
South Korean stocks plunged 3.65% at the close on 10/12 to 6,384 points (the lowest since 8/11), with Samsung down 4.39% and SK hynix down 4.52%.

#每周来晒 #韩股大跌你会抄底吗 Foreign capital outflows at a 17-year low, yet retail investors are buying the dip: the bottom in Korean stocks has never been formed by retail investors 🕳️

Korean stocks plunged 3.65% to close at 6,384 points on 10/12 (a new low since 8/11), with Samsung down 4.39% and SK Hynix down 4.52%.
Buying the dip now has a greater probability of being a "trap" than an "opportunity"—because today's market structure is crystal clear: foreign investors are fleeing (at a 17-year level), while retail investors are buying. Bottoms have never formed this way.

I. Why this is a "trap," not an "opportunity": four reasons
① Foreign investors have retreated to a 17-year low. Foreign ownership of Samsung Electronics has fallen to 46.37%—the lowest since 2009. Foreign investors recorded net sales of 2.02 trillion won that day, institutions recorded net sales of 110.6 billion won, and retail investors recorded net purchases of 1.47 trillion won—the buyers were retail investors, while smart money was retreating. Historically, this market structure has rarely marked a bottom.
② The AI narrative is still cooling. The trigger was the unwinding of the AI trade amid concerns over OpenAI's revenue—Samsung/SK Hynix are on the front line of AI memory, and until the AI story recovers, they have no engine to drive a rebound.
③ ASML's price hikes are new negative news, not "the bad news being fully priced in." Lithography equipment components will rise 10% in price (starting in 2027)—the logic of cost pressure squeezing profits has only just begun to play out.
④ CPI on 10/14 hangs overhead. The macro environment is still wavering, and high-beta Korean stocks will see the impact amplified—if CPI comes in hot, they will take another hit; even if CPI cools, Korean stocks will not be the first to rise. Entering now is like guessing the answers on the night before an exam.

II. Three signals that would turn this into an "opportunity"
1. Foreign investors turn to net buyers—the strongest signal
2. The AI narrative stabilizes: OpenAI/US chip stocks stop falling, and SK Hynix provides strong earnings guidance (in late October)
3. KOSPI stabilizes on strong volume at 6,200–6,300—a decline that runs out of steam + buyers stepping in

Korean stocks are now a classic "catching a falling knife" scenario—foreign investors have not returned, the narrative has not stabilized, CPI has not been released, and retail investors are buying the dip. Buying the dip is not impossible; it is just not viable "now." The bottom in Korean stocks has never been formed by retail investors; it has been bought back by foreign investors. Keep your hands off and wait for foreign investors.

Today’s Summary:
Gold oscillated back and forth today, with bulls and bears repeatedly pulling against each other. In the morning session, we opened a short at 4211 and captured the first wave of profit. We then made several quick in-and-out trades, with all five trades profitable. In the afternoon, a short at 4201 captured a 30-point move.

In the evening, the market pulled back as expected, hitting a low of 4154 and entering the previously favored 4168–4150 support zone. We entered a long at 4162 and successfully took profit at 4172.
