Seeing fees flow into the liquidity pool every day feels pretty good. But when you do the math, you realize that if you hadn’t deposited those coins and had simply held them, you might have more now.
This brings us to what people often call “impermanent loss.”
Take a common two-token automated market maker pool as an example. When the relative prices of the two tokens change, trading and arbitrage alter the asset ratio in the pool. When you withdraw, you may not get back the original quantities of each token.
Think of it as an automated exchange counter: when one token gets more expensive, tha

The 1h outflow of 750 million is meant to scare traders, but 5m has already seen a stealth inflow of 40 million, indicating that dark-pool buyers are accumulating. Price is firmly holding at 79954 without breaking the previous low of 79506; the low-volume decline is purely a shakeout. The liquidation map shows longs stacked below. Major players are likely to stage a fake breakdown to sweep longs and bait shorts, then reverse and squeeze the shorts. #美联储继续按兵不动

Why are spot and futures prices different for the same coin?
You open the trading page and see one price for a coin on the spot market and another for its contract. Is the platform displaying the wrong price?
Usually not. They trade in different markets, each with its own buy and sell orders, so their prices won't be identical every second.
It's like buying a bag of coffee beans now versus agreeing to take delivery next month—the negotiated prices may differ. Contract prices are also affected by factors such as supply and demand, funding costs, and time to expiry.
The price difference between

The most unusual detail in today's market is that $XRP $XRP's funding rate remains positive at +0.0100%, while its price is hovering near the lower Bollinger Band at 1.29663. Longs are paying to hold their positions, yet 24h trading volume of 112.2M USDT is clearly higher than $HYPE and $BLUR in the same sector, indicating that selling pressure is being steadily absorbed amid high liquidity rather than a low-volume decline. Comparing relative strength: $XRP is down 2.77% over 24h, with an RSI of 33.2; $HYPE is down 3.46%, with an RSI of 33.4. Both are similarly oversold, but XRP's volatilit

When you see an account that ended up gaining 30%, you might think: Nice result. But if the ride in between was like a roller coaster, whether you could stick it out to the end is another matter.
That’s where “maximum drawdown” comes in.
Here’s a simplified example with no deposits or withdrawals: an account rises from 1000U to 1200U, later falls to 900U, and finally climbs back to 1300U.
It did indeed gain 30% overall. But the drop from the 1200U peak to 900U was a 25% drawdown. Assuming this was the largest drop from a peak to a subsequent low during that period, the maximum drawdown was 25%

I thought I’d get filled at 78500—only after reviewing this month’s daily candles did I realize the low was just 79220. It never touched 78500 once.
The group of people I’m watching hasn’t budged these past two days either: going long near 78500, short near 82500. Place orders on both sides first, then just wait.
82500 is more worth watching: yesterday’s post had 82300, and today this person moved it up 200 points. The price was above that level on 22 days this month. After touching 84377 on 10-22, the high over the past 7 days was only 81823.
So “patience” isn’t just empty reassurance. Both l

Fear and Greed Index stands at 51, in the neutral zone, indicating that the broader market is seeing neither panic selling nor greedy chasing of highs. BTC's influence on altcoins is weak, and capital is more inclined toward short-term rotation between sectors.

ZEC short position nets $1,500: strategy review
Strategy review, current market analysis, and trading recommendations:
Short position strategy review: $ZEC
Yesterday’s short entry range of 1360-1400 was not reached. However, the previous high on the 1h and higher timeframes was 1367.96. Since it would be difficult for the downtrend to break above that high—and even if it did, the price would quickly pull back—I chose to notify an entry at 1330. But the market weakened before the rate meeting began, reaching a low of 1263.33. I personally expected positive news, so I didn’t exit. After rebound

You open a spot grid and see “Grid Profit +30U.” You feel happy for a moment, but right beside it, it says “Total Return -70U.” How can both numbers appear at the same time?
Because they’re not measuring the same thing.
Think of a grid as a small shop that buys and sells according to set rules. After completing several rounds of trades, it has indeed earned a spread; but the inventory it hasn’t sold yet can also change in value as the market moves.
Here’s a simplified example: completed grid trades earned 30U after related trading fees, while the remaining holdings incurred an unrealized loss

#FedKeepsRatesSteady 🏦 FED RATE DECISION: IS BITCOIN READY FOR A BIG BREAKOUT? 🚨
The crypto market is approaching a crucial moment! The Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision could influence Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the overall crypto market. But the real question is: Will the market finally break out of its current range, or will volatility catch traders off guard?
📊 Three Things Every Crypto Trader Should Watch
🔹 1. The Fed’s Rate Decision
Markets generally expect rates to remain unchanged. However, the Fed’s future outlook could matter more than the decision itself.
🔹 2. Jerome Powell’

The morning briefing just warned that the $BTC 79919 long position was at risk, and it got liquidated moments later. That was brutal.
My view is the same as yesterday: “no rate hike” alone cannot sustain a major rally, because the market never pays a premium for something that has already happened; it only prices in what might happen next. So the real focus last night was the tone conveyed in the Fed’s remarks.
The purpose of this latest sell-off was clear—to sweep out shorts around 79919, then bounce back immediately.
BTC’s trading volume actually gave an early warning: yesterday, volume rose
