Losing my wallet, passport, and ID in Vietnam gave me a serious scare. Luckily, the hotel was reputable and helped me get them back.
It just passed through too many staff members’ hands, and they took all the large-denomination Vietnamese dong—about HKD 500.
Oh well, as long as I got my passport back 😭😭😭 otherwise I would’ve been stuck in Vietnam!! I’ll just consider the 500 a tip.
