AI hardware stocks have fallen so hard—how much further could they fall?
This downturn may just be the beginning. Over the past few years, AI companies have poured money into buying GPUs and building data centers, and hardware makers have reaped the benefits.
Now the market is starting to worry: if data center construction slows, can this industry chain sustain its previous growth?
I think there are a few things to watch.
1. Smaller computing companies face greater pressure

I'm 24 years old. I've been day trading for 3 years. Profitable for 1 year. Thinking of putting a significant amount of my portfolio into investing and resetting my trading portfolio completely.
I want to get significant exposure to the NASDAQ and SP500 soon.
Any other things I should consider?

What I mean is:
Two weeks ago, my 2-year-old son used my phone to buy two BTC at a price of 8.2.
I only discovered it today when I opened my phone.

Bitcoin is currently trading in the $75,800–$76,400 range after a sharp drop from levels above $80,000. As of the latest data around November 5–6, 2026, BTC sits near $76,000–$76,200, reflecting a decline of approximately 5% to 6% in a single session from highs near $80,800–$81,000. The 24-hour range has stretched from roughly $75,000–$75,600 lows to $80,800–$81,000 highs, with trading volumes elevated during the sell-off.

Market capitalization remains around $1.52–$1.53 trillion. Over the past week the move is roughly flat to mil
Neuron Industries raised 10 million in seed funding to build industrial controllers. The sector isn’t sexy, but it’s critical to factories. FCVC and Obvious leading the round shows hard tech is back. Salesforce has even moved into defense tech. Signals that major players are staking out territory are worth more than the funding numbers. #USTechSelloff AI Infrastructure Sold, Applications Next? What the 5 November Closes Say About Rotation

Thursday's close showed how sharply the AI trade came apart. Chips and data-center names took the heaviest losses, while the software and platform names held up better. The question now is whether that gap is the start of a rotation from AI infrastructure into AI applications, where the revenue is more immediate and the capex risk is lower.

What the closing prints show

From the Gate feed's 5 November closes: Alphabet closed at $282.57, down 2.20%. Microsoft closed at $535.93, down 3.58%.

ETF outflows of $430 million in a single day are more worth watching than the price itself. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $430.2 million in one day, while Ethereum ETFs lost $99.97 million over the same period, nearly $100 million. More than $400 million in withdrawals in a single day is no small amount for any thematic ETF, especially when it comes from spot Bitcoin ETFs, which makes the signal even more significant. Coincidentally, the Nasdaq fell 5.52% that same day. Tech stocks broke down first, and crypto followed with outflows. A 5.52% single-day drop is among the steeper pu

In a smart contract audit report, what information is more important than “passed an audit”?

In the Web3 world, we often see projects promote that their smart contracts have passed security audits.

But if you actually open an audit report, you’ll find an easily overlooked fact:

“Passed an audit” is not a permanent security guarantee, nor does it mean the contract is risk-free.

The real value of an audit report lies not in its final conclusion, but in what it actually examined, what it found, and what the project did afterward.

Ordinary users don’t need to understand every line of Solidity
