Gate News bot message, a victim lost 783.75 BTC (approximately $91.4 million) on August 19, 2025, through a social engineering attack where perpetrators impersonated exchange and hardware wallet support staff, as reported by @zachxbt.
The incident coincided with the one-year anniversary of the $243M CEX Creditor hack.
