According to Businesswire, the crypto-friendly bank Nubank has announced that it has applied for a banking license from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ( OCC ) and plans to explore banking operations in the United States. If approved, the bank will be able to offer deposit accounts, credit cards, loans, and digital asset custody services in the U.S. market. There are reports that Nubank launched the electronic money transfer feature last year, allowing users to send and receive cryptoassets through wallets, supporting the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana networks.
