The two are not mutually exclusive; both can be considered, but the choice should depend on your circumstances. The principal of the vast majority of retail traders in crypto is under 100,000 U, while participants with millions in capital are few and far between, and those with more than 5 million are even rarer. Different capital sizes call for completely different trading approaches.

ADP was already weak, adding only 38k jobs in August.
Watch initial jobless claims tonight and nonfarm payrolls tomorrow.
The market currently expects initial jobless claims to come in at around 205k.
If tonight’s figure exceeds 210k, it would be clearly weak and further reinforce the narrative that “employment is cooling.”
If tomorrow’s nonfarm payrolls come in below 40k, or the unemployment rate starts to rise, that would basically confirm that this slowdown in employment is not a false signal.
