This $POWER short position was opened as price faced resistance at a high. I didn’t rush to add after entry, setting the protection level first to guard against a wick-driven shakeout. At this point, I’m more focused on a pullback than chasing a long.
Price failed to hold when it pushed toward the previous high, and volume didn’t follow through. I continued holding after the false breakout and pullback. There was some stop-hunting in between, but it didn’t hit my protection level, and the rebound was also relatively weak.
